  1. For PS4, how to you delete parts in the VAB? Instruction to tell me how to flip things, add things, but nothing how to remove or trash a part. Can someone enlighten me how to do this?
  2. More excuses. If you are incapable of producing something, then don't bother trying. Half-assing something is worthless.
  3. How expensive it is for an update is entirely irrelevant to a customer. Maybe had Squad provided the customer with a finished game originally, they wouldn't need to concern themselves with the cost of an update.
  4. And they will continue to do such because there is no accountability for neither Squad, Flying Tiger, or Blitworks. They have your money, and know that you will continue to sit and sit and sit, so there is little incentive for them to get anything out to us. Maybe it would be a good idea for all console owners to submit reviews to the BBB. Get their attention that way because they honestly have no interest in giving a legit response.
  5. "being worked on" Doesn't mean much when we've been waiting over a year for something worthwhile. Maybe there should have been a $30 refund as a "good faith return" while they produced a playable game (they get to keep $10 of it the original purchase)?
  6. And a shock, the Thursday announcement was a waste and the console game owners are treated as the red headed step child again.
  7. I have been doing a lot of reading on the site about transfer windows when going beyond Minmus, but one thing I've noticed was a lot of people were using mods on their PC in order to know when the appropriate time was to utilize these windows. Since the mods (like Kerbal Alarm Clock) can't be used on the consoles, how does one go about finding these transfer windows and be able to utilize them?
  8. I know that getting readouts of DeltaV and TWR are mods for the PC versions, but is there any consideration/plan of how to add this to the consoles? Honestly, I think it would be best if they were part of the game to begin with, and based upon the mode you pick for career, you get the option of having them or not (Normal - Gets both; higher difficulty gets option to use them). I understand there are differences with the PC version and the Consoles, but this is something that would be HUGE to know in the game on every version and would certainly help rid me of the annoying trial and error.
  9. My question is rather simple, but I can't figure out the button combination. For a rescue mission, I am within 2km of the stranded ship, but I don't know how to make the stranded kerbal get out of their ship. Watching a scott manley episode, he says how to do it with a keyboard, I need to know how to do it for a ps4. How do you switch control?
  10. I preordered the limited edition of NMS about 6 months ago on amazon long before I knew about KSP. However, my NMS arrived on Tuesday, and it hasn't even been opened yet. There is just something so addicting about the trial and error of KSP that keep you stuck to it. There are times when I just shut it off while cussing and yelling, and then times like yesterday, where I finally got our dear Bob Kerman to the Mun, orbited it, and then successfully made it home with 175 science, which makes you just stand up and cheer. Is NMS great? No idea....for now, Jeb is preparing for a Mun landing.
  11. Oh no...whatever will you do with that $40....
  12. Does anyone know if you can take a save file for a PS4, and copy it to an external HD?
  13. I just posted in the PS4 section how mine was corrupted at about 10-15 hrs. That's a shame to see 250hrs just disappear...you have my sympathies
  14. PS4 Version Ran into a very depressing bug a couple days ago. Was playing in career mode, and finally reached the point where I was able to buy some space plane parts. I had no problem with the game prior, and actually had 2 saved files for separate career campaigns. Upon leaving the hanger to go to the runway, the game simply froze. I waited about 3-4 minutes before hitting the PS button, and manually closing the application. The game closed and I got an error message. This isn't the first time that the game has crashed, so I didn't think much of it. However, when I went back into the game, it said that both of my saved games were corrupted and should be deleted. So 10-15 hrs of messing around, entirely gone. I know I'm not the first person to post this. Squad, or porters, I don't care who, but this needs to be addressed. Nothing loses a customer faster than causing their time and involvement to be entirely corrupted and worthless.
  15. I was looking at the instructions in those pictures (thank you by the way!) and I didn't see the button combination required in order to bring up the "default controls", such as landing gear, or turning on lights, or such. Did I miss that somewhere?
  16. Yeah, I misread and cleared it up, up above.
  17. Ah yes, I misread that (typed on phone between meetings). Yes, Star and I are saying the same thing. That's my bad. I actually played the career mode yesterday for a couple hours, and could get a ship up on a solid booster about 10km, and then tested the liquid booster to 40km, but now trying to get into orbit, I'm having a heck of a time. Either too much thrust from the tall solid booster - stacked 2 in stages since I didn't get far with it after liftoff, but then burn up by acending too quickly. I could do just the liquid booster with many fuel tanks, but that's so expensive in comparison. That, I'm ok with, as its trial and error, I just wanted more detail in the tutorials, that's all.
  18. Couldn't agree less, its a matter of convenience. A PC gamer can alt+tab back to the internet to look up something quickly. Or close the game quickly and get into a browser to get what they need. A console gamer, a computer is rarely in the same location. So everytime you need something, its a leave, go to another room, get the computer (unless someone else has it), and then get what you need, then go back.
  19. I still don't know if this will apply to the tutorials, but I can surely take a look. However, it still doesn't solve the fundamental problem of the lack of instruction in this game though.
  20. How do I bring up the menu on a PS4 so I can use unlimited fuel? And can I use it just on tutorials only? I noticed it was in the "Settings" when the game first started, but I didn't want to have it on all the time and assumed it wouldn't apply to tutorials.
  21. I figure I'm not the first person to feel this way, but I have to ask, why is there so little instruction with this game? Many of the tutorials give you limited fuel, tell you to "pick" a route (I'm focusing on the mun part 1), but then leave you stranded when you run out of fuel because you didn't pick the "right" route? Or if I pick the wrong route, and am trying to correct that, so I can finish the tutorial, why do I not have enough fuel to fix my mistake? The Point of the Tutorial is to learn, but how can you learn when you don't know what you did wrong to cause you to be low on fuel as it is? This also applies to the docking tutorial. Multiple times I've gotten close to the stranded ship, only to run out of fuel because the vague instructions didn't give me exactly where to go? It isn't fun to spend 20 minutes on a tutorial, only to run out of fuel and not be able to finish it. Then spend the next 2 hours trying to determine why it keeps happening to no avail? Moral of the story, can you please either make your instructions more specific (almost a hand holding tutorial), or turn on UNLIMITED fuel during tutorials so I can amend my mistakes and complete the lesson? My second gripe with instructions is the missions at Mission control during the career mode. For example, the missions right off the bat with "crew report". I sat for 20-30 minutes trying to find the option of crew report. It wasn't until I cheated and looked on youtube that I realized I had to be "on the launch pad, click the Command pod, and hit "O" " NEVER, not once, was this addressed anywhere. How can anyone NOT get frustrated with this game, if you're not telling them where to find the things they need to do? The instructions for that contract should have told you where to find it, so that the contract was essentailly a learning skill opportunity. Furthermore, nothing explains WHAT the crew report does...I just know it exists now. This also applies to the tourist missions. I sat for quite a while trying to figure how what these tourist missions meant, and these are some of the FIRST missions. These should be the most straight forward, and they aren't. It should say, "1. Do this 2. Get this person on ship 3. Get to this height" I honestly shouldn't have to be stuck to the forum and youtube to figure anything out with this game. it should be clear.... I want to love this game...I really do. But I'm incredibly agitated by the massive assumptions and explanation short cuts made by the Squad
  22. With a clearer head this morning. I checked the engines again and they are indeed out of fuel. However, it will not let me hit X and drop the stage.
