  1. Good job and congrats on the MUCH better port to console, it looks great.

     Now that the new port is downloaded can I nuke the old one and start trying to wash the smell of flying tiger out of my clothes?

    Third gen.... is that the Sega/SNES era?Edit: Nope googled it One gen earlier so NES......I don't think they sell Game Genies for Xbox.

  2. @richfiles So they're fixing the save game glitch on pc branch by sal-vager borrowing an xbox to troubleshoot? Uhhu.  I lost enough of my time on their bugs and now I'm supposed to sift through dev notes, twitter and forum posts to get info on when they're going to get it fixed? A far more gratifying way to spend my time is to complain to anyone and everyone that will listen and then go play something else that won't disappoint me.  Try to imagine playing through a stock interplanetary mission and you get back safe and sound only the game doesn't save right and when you load the next day you never flew the mission.  Plus freezing, plus nodes disappear, plus sticking interface, plus plus plus. That's not fun, and it's been like that since release.

So two weeks ago a console patch was in testing.  Now this week we are just nailing down the save issue.  So that wasn't in the patch being tested?  There needs to be more clarity for your console base.  Just my opinion, but it sure seems like the console release was just a cash grab. No way all these bugs were missed in testing(or heads should roll).  You released a lousy build on console, take that money and hire some new devs, and rather than making a console fix your first priority,  you blow smoke for 6 weeks and work on 1.2.  I'm certainly not impressed, tell me how should we be viewing this?   You're losing the faith of a big potential player base guys.  10 hours of limited gameplay isn't worth 40 bucks.  

  4. I'm on xbox. What I define as a corrupt save is when the game rolls back then won't allow you to load beyond it.  For example, I fly a mission and the save glitches me back before I flew the mission, so I try it again, save and it rolls back.  Seems if you wipe your saves(can't delete persistent) and force the persistent to overwrite by changing your science score or hiring a kerbal it allows you to carry on.  I have a minmus colony with 3 large crafts and 2 rovers as well as an orbital station that's getting big.  There is definitely fps lag.  I should mention that when the game freezes I wipe ALL the saved data from the console and download it from the cloud, seems to stop the freeze from dooming your save.

Just want to chime in as a person who had never played the pc version.  I'm sure I don't know what I'm missing when it comes to mods, but this has to be one of the coolest games I've ever played.  I surmise that I'll be doing a fair bit of over engineering and trial and error without the mods and precise control, but it seems the stock game is pretty amazing to me.  

  6. First time player here. Just purchased on xbox.  Want to say phenomenal job on the port guys.  Thousands of hours of gameplay available here, arguably the most complex sandbox on console and it runs like a top first try.  Kudos are due to squad and flying tiger.  You mostly met your window(Sry sceu) with a non buggered working port.  I haven't seen that from an indy on xbox 1 til you guys.
