The "You know you're playing a lot of KSP when..." thread
KayBee replied to Phenom Anon X's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You know you are playing a lot of ksp when you are on a long boring drive and try to time wrap it. But then you realize you cannot time wrap while moving on terrain. And finally you conclude that you need help! -
By feasible i did not mean "not possible" but "not practical" to be actually used English isn't my first language so there is some confusion i guess
-
I think you missed a point. I said they will be heavy and complicated to be used for "small rovers". Designing adjustable suspension system for a small RC car and an actual car will be different and you know which will be difficult. Its possible to make adjustible suspension system for rc car but its not really not feasible. Also i want engineers to do it because i just want them to do more things in ksp.

Well i never said its not possible but they will be a lot complicated and thus much heavy to be used for smaller rovers(maybe in the future it will be possible). In ksp however I suggest it to be only avialabe in RovMax XL3 or TR-2L Wheels(cause they unlock at later stages in tech tree) and also only possible with help of engineers. This would keep it more real.

Different launch sites
KayBee replied to KerbalKid's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yes this will be really helpful. Option for purchasing runways and launch sites across kerbin will be a good addition for career mode and make it more interseting. Also it will be easy to explore kerbin with more runways because right now its really difficult to get around kerbin. -
Or can even have anomalies in space from where we can get science. Idk if thats practical but u know....

Yes i know it will be really helpful if we are able to change these settings and adapt them to the surface we land on but wont this make the game less realistic?

For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread
KayBee replied to Skyler4856's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Well electricity isnt a physical quantity which you can measure but its more of a phenomenon of flow of charge(or rather electrons). Now if you consider speed of electrons as speed of electricity it will be weird. Drift velocity of electrons in a wire carrying DC is less than one milimeter pre second! But electronic responses are fast because all the electrons in wire move simultaneously on application of potential difference(or voltage) Its a common misconception that speed of electricity is very high. It cannot be calculated by like pumping water through a empty pipe and finding the time in which water reaches the other end BUT pumping water through a pipe already filled with water in which case water will come out of the other end almost instantly! PS-sorry for bringing out an old question but in my defence it was not answered -
This is what im using Works pretty well. It can level fly at 20-25m/s with little throttle without stalling and can stop at the exact same position it lands. But i still cannot land it on the right place, i keep crashing into the pool or land way ahead. i will try to make good entry soon Also if you want it manned i can easily add the external command seat.

Challange accepted! I'm guessing no airbrakes either? And also im using LY05 and LY10 landing gears having max brake torque 30.(i dont know if they go to 200 in newer version because mine is old)
