The solution by SpaceKumkuat worked for me also. I just moved the KSP and Launcher Apps out of the Applications folder and moved them back in and all worked fine. Odd solution, but miracle for my kid who wanted to play!!! -

Did you just move the application or the whole KSP_osx folder?
