  1. Sure thing, I\'ll make the trip either tonight or tomorrow, pretty late on my end. It\'s definitely capable though, I guarantee it. Also, forgot to add: on landing, drag chute is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Conventional braking won\'t stop it fast enough before it decides to wobble and break itself apart. Might need a bit of tweaking, but if you pull that drag chute immediately on touchdown you\'ll be fine.
  2. How so? I personally haven\'t experienced too much instability, if you could describe what went wrong I\'d greatly appreciate it.
  3. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: [shadow=red, left]The Prometheus Explorer (Mk1)[/shadow] Full Gallery Here: http://imgur.com/a/6g0iy Description A rocket-launched, jet-powered atmospheric re-entry craft, the Prometheus Explorer is based off of the past success of the Prometheus Orbiter. Including an increased stability upper stage design, the Explorer is entirely capable of a round trip to Minmus or the Mun with considerable range once in atmosphere in the event of a fudged re-entry. Highlights [li]Stable, SAS-assisted launch platform[/li] [li]Vertical lander stage[/li] [li]Stable, SAS-assisted atmospheric flight platform[/li] [li]Drag chute for precision landings[/li] [li]Emergency separating, impact resistant command module with parachute[/li] Manufacturer\'s disclaimer: Please raise gear before ignition. Ship only approved and tested for single destination round trips. Your safety is not guaranteed on any attempts to visit more than one celestial body. ____________________________________ Download and take her for a spin! .Craft goes in the VAB folder. 4. Well, after about 4 hours of trial and error, I\'ve created a spaceplane which looks like something straight out of Star Trek. She\'s a bit touchy on the throttle due to a constant shifting center of gravity after stage I, so just make sure not to throttle it past the controllable limit and make needed use of RCS. It is indeed very orbit capable, and upon re-entry is an incredibly maneuverable, stable, jet powered craft with more than enough endurance to get you back home in the event of a bad re-entering. Special safety features include: - a detachable, reinforced cockpit module complete with parachute - Drag chute for precision braking on landing Enjoy, feedback on improvements are welcome!
