Entering the challenge with the Yatsykon Concept Co. Dimetrus - 1, my first SSTO since I started playing KSP in alpha 0.16 (Wow, that's so far away. Couldn't have imagined what KSP looks like now from back then. Much easier to play nowadays, back in my day we didn't get no fancy schmancy "patched conics"). Images should finish uploading by the time you see this, forgot to take photos pre-orbit. https://imgur.com/a/fpEWV

Oh crap, I linked the wrong album. Here's my album, with my actual shuttle. I think I accidentally copied someone else's link, was probably browsing the album's of previous contenders and clicked on the wrong tab. Here's my actual album. (Sorry to the guy whose album I copied, whoever that may be ) https://imgur.com/a/IVsec

@He_162 I imagine that while climbing, increasing/decreasing your inclination from the horizon could be used to effectively control your speed. Though, for this stage of the flight you would have to use your engine, which may/may not qualify under "some kind of other power". Once at altitude, you can use the same technique of changing your inclination to control the speed at which you are gliding (Falling?) at. At least, that's how I would imagine doing this.

@He_162 I'm guessing you can bring it up to a high altitude above the KSC, and then glide it in the island's direction.

@MajaeV Are there any specific custom features you would like for me to include on the aircraft?
