  4. Dear Everyone Does anyone know what causes textures to magically disappear!? I have been having issues recently with the surface and atmosphere, the surface of the planets appear to fly away leaving squares of emptiness.   7. Dear Shadoxfilms I actually Prefer to go on a slightly realistic approach and not use a IRSU. And to everyone else I also like to use a Mk3 SSTO because they can carry small rovers. Sincerely, Mk3 Maniac.
  8. Dear Everyone, I am wondering how to get to eeloo, I have made SSTOs that can make it to orbit with 6,900 meters a second in orbit, some with even over 7,000. The problem is landing, some of these crafts weigh around 350 or 400 tons, some 300 ton SSTOs have 3 nervas. The crafts I have created can't land on the Mun, what should I do to guarantee that the next SSTO I make will land on Eeloo. But another question I have is do I have to sacrifice delta V to land on Eeloo? Also I if you are wondering why I am using Mk3 parts, there is two reasons, the first reason is the mk3 cargo bay, it can carry rovers with wheels with decent wheels that are not made of space tooth picks or scraps from bouncy houses, the second reason is in my name, I LOVE THE MK3 PARTS, they hold lots of fuel and are just generally big, also making Mk3 SSTOs are easier for me than mk2 or mk1 sstos.   10. Dear Everyone, On the topic of SSTOs does more rapiers help provide more delta V? Cause more rapiers the faster you travel through the atmosphere and the more speed you can gain in the upper atmosphere, but then again if you are making that SSTO a interplanetary craft the more rapiers the more wasted delta V you will end up having, but then again the less rapiers the more fuel you have to burn at sea level to gain speed to climb effectively! So which is better, more fuel less rapiers or less fuel more Rapiers OR more fuel more rapiers, I hope this question can help me and possibly others in the future.   11. Dear Everyone, I need some advice on gravity assists, I have already tried twice to get a correct encounter from Pol to Tylo to Tylo to Kerbin. Whenever I get out of Jool's Sphere on influence the craft always going the wrong direction. At what time and place does the moons need to align to guarantee that my ssto will go the right direction back to Kerbin. Sincerely Mk3 Maniac.
  12. I did not specify what I meant by using the oxidizer tanks, the oxidizer is for keeping the craft stable during normal flight, I have edited my question to represent this. I have edited the ship a bit, here is the result. I simply removed some intakes.
  13. Dear Everyone, I have created this beast, big ,slightly excessive this craft could use some improvement. The unnecessary oxidizer tanks are there to make the craft stable when taking off by moving oxidizer towards the back while leaving the front empty, so it can be stable when drained of fuel and filled with fuel. I haven't tested it yet, but I hope for good advice from the KSP community. So what Improvements can I make to improve the range and maneuverability.   14. Dear Everyone, I have made an SSTO that lands on Laythe. I want to land it somewhere else in the Jool system like Val, or even somewhere like Eeloo , but the Nerve engines have to rely on the closed cycle of the rapiers The craft weighs about 300 tons. So my question is how many more Nerves does the craft need? One? Two? Three? Please give me advice oh good KSP community! Sincerely: Mk3 Maniac
  15. Dear Everyone, I have been wondering, what good does a Vtol SSTO craft does. Hazardish and Mark Thrimm both made vtol SSTo craft yet Mark's only has 1000 delta V in orbit and hazrdish's vtol is hard to fly, so I believe that Vtol SSTO's are just a cool gimmick but provide a crippled amount of delta V (and by crippled I mean a few Meters a second of Delta V) that could be spent with cargo instead of VTOl parts, also a stock Vtol craft can be tricky to make. But what good does a VTOL ssto do? Sincerely Mk3 Maniac
  16. Dear Everyone I had recently asked if my SSTO (craft file ). The craft landed on Laythe with a .75 ton rover. It had 6000 Delta V, in orbit. Does getting to Dres require more Delta V???   17. Hey Guys it lands on Kerbin fromlaythe with 200 meters a second to spare, yeah! Sadly it can't make it without the nose exploding (due to a weird landing due to poor design, the center of lift moves in front of the center of mass. Nothing I can't fix though!

Stahn Aileron I did check the NERVES in space. Also another thing of you download the craft, you can do whatever you want with the cargo bay, from removing it to adding a isru unit, it also has a shielded docking port allowing docking in a vacuum or on the ground, I give everyone permission to use my craft, From Mun to Laythe go ahead if you are a beginner and take inspiration, if you are skeptical test the craft for yourself, but seriously give me a little credit if it ends up in a post or video) Sincerely Mk3 Maniac.
  19. Hey everyone guess what! It does have 6000 Ms of Delta V in LKO, but guess what, I landed on Laythe with the craft. I will up date on this journey when in LLO. (P.S. if you want to try this craft out you may want to switch out the advanced nose cone type A with a NCS adapter and small nose cone, the Nose Cone Type A burned up during a intense laythe aero-capture. Dear Stahn I find out the true delta V readings by puting the Nervs on a stage seperate from the rapiers shpwing the true range of the craft in LKO. Sincerely: Mk3 Maniac

Here is an SSTO I made yesterday focused on having more Delta V than my other space craft Did I also mention that this craft can make it to Laythe (still trying to get home, haven't mastered gravity assists yet, it has at least 1,000 delta V on course to a gravity assist from Kerbin with 2 Tylo Assists )
  21. Dear everyone reading this, I recently made a SSTO that has over 6,000 meters a second of Delta V. I know this because of the Delta V read outs from Kerbal Engineer Redux. What should I do with this, I know it is possible that to Duna, but I don't know about Dres and Laythe, is this possible with such a craft.   22. Here is a very small start. SCALE UP, multiply the fuel and engines from how much nerves you have, (I tried it), but what do I know I am a MK3 maniac. (and can't describe stuff).
  23. Dear everyone who recommends ISRU, I already did this before with a SSTO. It feels unrealistic, plus if I could do it with ISRU then could I try without? Whats the trick behind it all?
  24. Thank you for the advice I will keep this in mind in the future, this SSTO will be repurposed for trips farther than Duna due to the extra fuel in orbit. I will show that SSTO in the future.
