  2. When I get to 20k apos I try to turn to 45 degrees and it just goes crazy (so still the first stage). 1) When you say "center of mass forward", can you expand on that? I thought I was supposed to keep center of mass as low on the rocket as possible. 2) How do I figure out the center of lift + drag back? Thx jonpfl
  3. All, I am trying to build a rocket that will get me to the Mun, let me land, do some science and get back. I am curious why this rocket flips around 20k when I try to turn it to 45 degrees? Why do some rockets flip and some don't? I am trying to keep the weight lower in the ship which I assume would keep it from flipping. What else? Thx jonpfl

  5. All, My bad, I rewatched video and didn't realize he attached fuel tanks on the wing, I thought they were engines! Thx jonpfl

  20. Sorry, my pilots are stranded in orbit (ships ran out of fuel) and would like more pilots so I can fly other missions. I haven't attempted to rescue them yet but I guess I could try that (after I run through the tutorial). Thx jonpfl
  21. Ok, I will download this tonight and try it, thanks for the link!!! I guess, at the very least, I can use your design, feel comfortable with it and then start tinkering with it. I hope the parts on it have been unlocked (what happens if they have not, will it not allow me to fly it?). I might go start a new game in science mode so I can better understand things, I am the type who usually likes to just right in but this game seems to have a massive learning curve (which is good).   22. All, I am totally out of fuel so no way I can retroburn (I think someone posted I should do that). In regards to it slowing down, can I hit '.' while controlling the ship or do I have to actually do it in real time. Or do I need to do physical time warp 'alt .'? I think the max number of people I can have in my facility is 12 and between the scientist, engineers and VIPs, I believe I am at 12. I assume once I clear out some spots, I will get more pilots, correct? Thx jonpfl

I assume CoM is center of mass. 2) How do you move either up or down? 3) What does -1.75t mean? 4) How do you tilt the rocket in the editor? Thx jonpfl 1) What do you mean by "control authority"?
