Hello, everyone! Long time, no see. I'm afraid I have fallen a bit behind on MJ developments. I note that https://ksp.sarbian.com/jenkins/job/MechJeb2-Dev/ - is returning a server not found error. Did it get moved to GitHub or something, or is that just a temporary server down thing? I note that user Starwaster posted a link to the Jenkins site about 6 weeks ago...

How would you approach this recovery mission?
El Sancho replied to El Sancho's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I do thank you all for your helpful replies -
Recovering Jalock is easy, I am asking how would you recover her scrap. They give you the mass and dimensions. Do you think a grabber is the way to go, and would a grabber hold it through re-entry? Or perhaps once you had it in orbit of Kerbin, an Engineer could weld a controller and some RCS onto it, and you could maneuver it into a cargo bay? Or maybe just weld a couple parachutes and a heat shield onto it, drop it on a re-entry arc, and hope for the best... Anyhow, what do you folks think?

Congratulations! I remember when I was working with the LandingSites.cfg file, and it gave me fits I keep telling myself that I'll go back and add landing sites for all the flats on Minmus, as I added the one for Greater Flats, and remove Negan's Place, but it's been two and a half years and I still haven't gotten around to it. The thing I continue to note about landing on Minmus is that if you start from a high orbit, say 250-300km, the Landing Guidance module is bullseye accurate. But if you start from a low orbit, it can be off by 200 meters or so.

Rover Repair Mission Not Completing.
El Sancho replied to Overheal's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Thank you! I had spent 3 hours on this donkey-loving contract, sent two cargo craft to Minmus, and was very proud of my solution. But it wouldn't complete. May the Game Gods smile upon you, kind person! -
The first step in solving this problem is to toggle the "Force Roll" setting. If it's on, turn it off. If it's off, turn it on. There's no guarantee this will work, but it's the simplest possible fix, and sometimes it works, If not, post again, and we will walk you through the possible fixes. One other thing you can do is delete your current /Mechjeb directory and install fresh, rather than overwriting the previous version. In past this has helped me.

This one has been present for a loooong time, and I have never really figured it out. I personally leave Force Roll toggled ON and my rockets don't roll, but YMMV. One thing you can try is rotating the rocket 90 degrees in the VAB. Load the rocket, save it under a different name so you're not changing your original savefile, then pick it up by the command part, (or hold Shift and pick it up by anything), then tap Q once to rotate it 90 degrees and save. Try that both with and without Force Roll. If that doesn't fix it, then load the original savefile, save it under a different name again, pick it up and tap E once to rotate it 90 degrees the other way and save, then try that both with and without Force Roll. Somewhere in those 4 possibilities you should find a config that works. Good luck. I know how infuriating this problem can be.

Because I am an English teacher, (well, EFL anyhow), I fixed your spelling of "sadly". Now, why don't you tell us what version of KSP you are using, what version of MJ2 you are using, what your OS happens to be, and then attach your logfiles as described in the first post of this thread. Then we can perhaps begin to help you diagnose the problem.
