  1. I'm not exactly sure what caused it, but after circularizing an orbit around Kerbin my trajectory line has vanished. Has anyone found a workaround to get it to display again? I've tried closing and reopening the game and it's still not appearing.
  2. I got it working by setting Steam to use the beta release, which then updated the firmware on the controller. The only limitation (which seems to be an issue with Steam, not KSP) is that the Left Ctrl and Left Shift bindings don't seem to work, meaning I can't incrementally control the throttle. Setting a secondary key for those in KSP and changing the controller bindings to use the secondary keys works.
  3. I've been away from KSP for a while, and noticed a news post about Steam Controller support. I tried loading up KSP on my Macbook, but whether I open it through Big Picture or the regular desktop Steam launcher, I cannot seem to get KSP to go into "Steam Controller mode". The Steamworks plugin is present in my plugins directory, and the controller is plugged in and light up (and working with the default "desktop" mappings). Is there some trick to this, or does it simply not work on OSX?
  4. The main module part seems to be buggy in 0.17. I can't mount it on any part without generally bugging out the VAB. I foolishly overwrote my old KSP folder when I upgraded, so I can't test whether or not ships that already had that part on them still work.
  5. I\'m not sure about the exploding problem, but they added a new Launch Clamp part that lets you hold you rocket off the launch pad and release it in a stage of your choosing, similar to a decoupler.
  6. Have I ever been there before. While trying to de-orbit some debris (with a MechJeb module so I could pilot it back down) I didn\'t quite leave enough fuel and was only able to get my Periapsis down to about 68k after emptying my fuel and RCS tanks. Apoapsis was something ridiculous like 4 million. It was taking so long for the Ap to come down that I ended up just leaving it overnight at 2x and coming back to a successfully crash-landed stage.
  7. Kerbin\'s atmosphere ends at about 70k (69,100 m according to the wiki). The Mun has no atmosphere, so you can get as low as you like, as long as you don\'t hit the ground anywhere. There isn\'t any solid data that I know of in terms of what the highest ground altitude is on the Mun, though.
  8. I\'m aware of that, but it\'s only of so much help for me. I\'ve been messing around with the Satellite Relay plugin and it\'s really helpful when setting up satellites to be able to see where KSC is in map view. My current solution is a tiny ship landed right beside KSC, but I have too many active flights as it is. (I wish you could scroll that 'active flights' list)
  9. I was hoping it would be an image mapped onto the planet model. Really I just want a nice KSC marker that I can see from space. I have a tiny ship that I landed behind the launch tower which is acting as my marker right now, but I don\'t really want to see the craft icon in the map view. (Picky, I know =P)
  10. I tried searching for an image file that I could edit to change the look of Kerbin, but I couldn\'t find one. I want to edit it to put a red circle or something around the KSC so that I can see it from space. Is this possible?
