Thanks everyone for the input. I downloaded CKAN and now mechjeb2 works alongside KAS. Now comes the fun part of figuring out how to use it to my advantage.

Hey everyone i was hoping I could get a more explained answer on how to dock using mechjeb2. I tried reading the online manual and it does not make much sense to me. Or maybe it's because my ship that I am trying to dock is just to big with not enough RCS systems onboard. Hoping I could get some input on this. thank you

So after I started fooling around, i somehow managed to get the KAS mod from Curse to work and the game is running smoothly. All I want is the MechJeb2 but for some reason it will not function or even show up in the game. I will try the CKAN.

Hey everyone so I am trying to start modding and I have not a clue what or how to even start going about this. I purchased KSP when it first came out on steam and have been playing ever since. The game is downloaded into my C drive with the rest of the games I own. is there any way someone can explain how to go about installing a mod like there describing it to a 6 year old?

Hey everyone so I have been playing KSP for quite a while " since it's been on steam" and I want to try some mods out since it looks a lot easier and more fun with them installed. Now at this point in time I have absolutely no clue on how I am supposed to install it yet alone make it work.
