  1. I've got a feeling it might be too. I've have the same issue with the pulling-up to bomb that you described. I just assumed the AI was programmed to lob-bomb for safety since my bombing runs usually succeeded. If I manage to fix my issues I'll come back and tell you about it, but I don't think it'll apply for you since I'm focusing on finding whatever mod interaction I assume is screwing with BDAc
  2. That sure is weird. Try doing it while watching from another vehicle though, BDAs autopilot seems to have strange issues with flying aircraft you are currently focused on. When I view things from a rover on the ground, my collision avoidance problems go away, as do my random fly forever disengage problems. The only solid solution seems to be stock KSP + BDAc + Nothing else.
  3. Try doing a run with BDA's debug labels turned on. If it pulls up as a collision avoidance then you've got the same problem I have. Which has persisted even with a fresh install, with only correct-to-version mods. I think it's a mod interaction because it doesn't seem to affect me in stock, although I need to test some more before I bother SM with it again. EDIT: Also try doing a run while watching from a different craft parked off the runway, I've found the collision avoidance problem doesn't happen to vehicles I don't have selected.
  4. Hey SM, I went back to completely stock KSP except for BDA and PRE, and built another test vehicle with the same aerodynamics and AI settings as the previous one. The problem disappeared completely. I'm guessing it's probably my dirty ass game, so I'm just going to do a fresh KSP install and be more careful with mods. If anything else comes up I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for all your help.
  5. I know what mods the demo craft uses, so I'll create a new install with just those and give it a go, it'll have to be tomorrow though as its pretty late here.
  6. I did another couple of runs. Had the debug lines on as well as labels and ran fine twice in a row. Then I turned lines off for the third one and left labels on and it was up to its old tricks. Here's a link to the KSP log and output_log Are these the ones you wanted? I'm kind of new at reporting bugs. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9gu7hRq7Qy5ellQNmxRSTZ0M1k
  7. Like I said, I was using the combined weapons manager and autopilot antenna part that comes with Aviators Arsenal But I've relocated using the autopilot and manager like you showed and it's still doing the same thing. I've had it doing the same thing with other craft too. I've built entirely stock (aside from BDA) crafts too just to check and it does it there as well. Loading from quicksave and lowering the steer factor or raising the steer damp seems to correct it, but only temporarily. After a few takeoffs with the new settings it starts doing the same thing again regardless. Thanks for being so quick to reply.
  8. Ok, so I have a pretty weird bug going on here. I'm using v0.3.0.0 of BDAc with v1.3 of KSP. Stock aerodynamics. Debug labels reveal that sometimes the plane thinks it's going to have a collision, so it pulls either straight up, or flips over and dives for the ground. I'm using the combined weapon manager and autopilot antenna that comes in Aviators Arsenal. But I've had this happen with the standard parts too. If I need to report the bug anywhere else, or you need any more info, do tell and I shall.
