    I hate it because they destroy all of the canon lore. Most importantly Rey is untrained. Every other Jedi is Trained and can't do what she does. I don't want to write it up to "Raw Powaaa"! It's so classic Disney. Star Wars is a "For kids" but making it into a cartoon in nature except for the graphics is a Dishonest form of Star Wars. Ep 7 and Ep 8 is a cartoon except with a live action camera. Rey is a bad charachter, No Training, No Discipline, Just "RAW POWAAA!" They might as well add cartoon captions that bang, pow, boom etc. Rey is more powerful than Anakin and Yet he was the chosen one, Rey is a nobody. I just want a reason linage, a prophecy, training at the temple before Jakku, some reason. Instead Disney went with the Princess with a lightsaber. "I'm powerful just because and more wise and better than Obi Wan, Anakin, Luke, Mace, Yoda and so many more." Rey beats Kylo Ren with ease. Anakin got sliced and Diced after 5 years of training maby even more. By the weakling Count Dooku. Rey beats the well trained Kylo who has had training from the best of the Light and Dark. Again Rey does this with no training. Exactly What is the most used line by a master in Star Wars. "Complete your training" But not Rey She is lifting caves after figuring it out on her own.

    To get a more powerful shot you can charge a bow caster. I longer you charge the more powerful.

    Plus if he had is "awesome first order armor" then he can fight Rey just fine Watch it carefully I timed it The sound end when he fires Yes and then waits a further 1.5 seconds the fire. After it's out of its way Watch the charge times.

    Seriously it doesn't take 2.5 seconds to aim he has his target and THEN waits. Also the whirl sound ends the SECOND HE FIRES In Battlefront or with real guns it doesn't take that long to aquire a target

    Why wait about 2.5 seconds to fire? The bowcaster aim stoped moving and 2.5 second LATER it fires again in war that's a long time. A veteran grenadier could throw a grenade in that time. Or maby in 3 seconds

    It is charged he holds his aim for about 2 seconds and then fires what is he waiting for Re watch the clip and be open to it Also the whirl should indicated a charge Listen carefully analyze it He has is mark at 6.5 seconds and the trigger is fired at 8.5 target is hit at 9 why wait that's a long time in war to hold a shot unless your sniping Especially at that range

    It's charged because the bridge doesn't blow up that's how I know and Kylo wasn't blown clear like the storm troopers even when SHOT CLOSER

    We never saw Anakin do a mind trick did we? Or engage in a lightsaber duel with Darth maul, or pilot a ship he had no experience with. Remember he was a pod racer so he could pilot the star fighter so he HAD experience. He was messing with the controls when he first took off remember? He also had much. As much as people hate the whole pod racing thing myself included... Ish, It seems to be a pinewood derby idea except in a extremely dangerous track that is a circle and has ways for you to die at every corner. The fact Anakin Stayed alive is amazing. Part of it is the Will of the force but a lot is pure talent AND EXPERIANCE FROM BUILDING POD RACERS!!!!!!!!!! Anakin can't even Beat Count Dooku or atleast engage in a duel for a few seconds after being TRAINED FOR 5 YEARS AT THE JEDI TEMPLE! Rey beats a fully trained Dark Side user and slices and dices him with no training is lightsaber combat only staff combat which is entirely differant. It's a differant from is the differance from form 1 fighting and form 7 fighting. Nobody here Denys that Anakin was the most powerful Jedi at that time atleast in potential. He couldn't beat Dooku who was just Their for Darth Sidious' fill in position. After Five years and Now Rey who has none of the experience in the catagoies above comes along and beats Darth Ren. I mean Kylo Ren . Come on she couldn't beat Kylo Ren after dives yesrs of training if everything we have known about the force is still true. Also Moderators please give a little bit of forgiveness to the rules on this thread. If people have taken things I've said as insults it wasn't meant to be. I just think people are sensitive about Star Wars more than they are about Physics, most of the time so if something comes off as rude it most likely wasn't meant that way.

    I former I shall not give details on but I've been into Star Wars for more than 3/4 of my life. Give or take a few decimal points Go onto YouTube and watch campaign cutscenes you get the idea for the charachter I've been my current form of fandom for 1/2 Let's just say when people change the laws of the universe of Star Wars so durasitcally I'm not going to be happy about it I.e. Ep 7 and Ep 8 and "Raw Powaa"

I would feel more sad if Iden Versio is killed than if Rey is killed. The fact in my opinion a Shady Money Theft company can make a better charachter arc with more emotion than DISNEY who has the backing of a The most successful franchise in cinema history... that's the problem. I know what Happens to Versio if you want to know. That scene was more emotional than Finns suicide run. This isn't your run down film from the new film maker it's STAR WARS.

    I know nothing about Star Trek but ok. That's a problem that I would be mad about. Yes I can be what the writers want but what is Disneys motivation Money or Star Wars. It should be Both. Not bakupting Star Wars and not Having a lack of lore problem. A few lines and a flash back could have fixed all of the problems with Rey that are unforgivable. But they HAD to go with the nobody turned Hero CLASSIC Disney thing.

    Read my complete post Ep 8 could be about how Rey was trained in Luke's academy. And survived the raid. Luke wiped her memory and left her in exile to keep her and him safe. This would comply with the force vision in Ep 7. And fill and many crucial details. Not that much in the film would have changed... I would still want a explanation for her power but it would be angering to fans not make their heads into a H-Bomb Thoughts?

    I hate this line of thought. As Yoda would say this line of thought leads to following others, following others leads to manipulation. I can blindly follow what a politician says yes? That's dangerous. I'm not going to blindly follow Walt Disney because they own Star Wars. Disney is really going to need to pull a miracle to save this trilogy. If we blindly follow why do the vast majority of fans hate the prequils... We should blindly follow right? Star Wars isn't Thomas the Tank Engine it has become its own universe, it has lore for a reason PEOPLE MAKE A LIVING OFF OF IT! Why blindly follow if EE disregarded all the lore. You need SOME, AND REALLY ALOT OF TRAINING to duel with a lightsaber much less against someone with "Raw Powaaa!" Like Kylo Ren! This can't be countered by Raw Power. Raw Power by definition is untamed and unpredictable, undisciplined. Rey has "Raw Powaaa!" But is disciplined, tamed, and predicable. Again I say WITH NO TRAINING! So what she just has more Raw Power Points or something. This isn't a low budget film it's Star Wars. A decent plot and charachters without conflicting with established lore isn't to much to ask. What I should be asking for is my money back, a remake, and Ep 7 and Ep 8 to be stripped of the canon. As much as I want this it isn't going to happen. So All I want is a decent Film. Disney can't even deliver that. Their plot is fine but ther charachter development and some more critical small details and lore a Star Wars fans would get are utterly lacking. I'm not saying you are or are not a fan. "Raw Powaaa!" Isn't a excuse for their failings in Ep 7 and Ep 7 plot line for the trilogy was salvageable... Ep 8 forget it.

    He had weeks of training... we just didn't see it all. He also trained in between 4-5. Either way Luke had some trading Rey has NONE.

    I wanted a reason for her power. I didn't get one. She is more powerful than the chosen one! Just because? I just want a reason. Anakin was superior to Obi Wan and who One. The better trained. The main problem we see with most new Jedi is the lack of skill BECUASE of the lack of dicipline. Now it's not discipline and tons of skill what's left to explore ir Rey's charachter Development OTHER THAN LORE. By lore I mean parents, Jakku, what ever. Even if she was the daughter of luke I would be more forgiving but still mad that she was that powerful with no training. She just needed training and Disney gave us none. Why does Rey get to be more powerful than anyone else in all of Star Wars. Imagine Rey when she is trained. She could implode a small moon... This would be fine if she was the chosen one BUT SHE ISNT she is a nobody charachter who is Force sensitive. That level of force sensitivity is reserved for special force weilders like Bendu, Anakin, and the Mortis Charachters of SWCW. Bendu is pretty much a rock so... I would throw Luke in their too but he is he son of the chosen one so it's understandable. I want a reason we got none! I wanted her just to be trained! Nope. I'm only asking for a scene in the force awakens showing her training or something she just can't self teach! Come on. Why now why wasn't she born during the Republic Era. If she is so powerful why wasn't she the chosen one. Ehh! Why now in the story of Star Wars. The only reason is that Disney wants her to be a Hyper powerful person. With no explanation. No training. No linage which isn't even nessicary just a nice way to explain something. No prophecy. No Discipline. That's it. Just a Disney Princess with a lightsaber. No reason for her power. It's frustrating. All other Jedi are force sensitive but it only comes out in training and they can get bested by Clones with Guns. The select few were lucky, extremely powerful like Yoda, Well trained Like Obi Wan... Or the chosen one so yea. Might I remind you all of those Charachters have been trained for DECADES. Yoda almost for a millennium. Mace used his high skill and aggressive nature to counter Palpatine with Vapad. He trained specifically in it. Now Rey beats Kylo, the long time student of Snoke who obviously is a Palpatine level charachter of not more. Sure Snoke paralyzed Rey but she was dumb in her decisions and honestly Kylo did it too in the force awakens. And they he turns around and beats him. These are force powers YODA DIDNT KNOW! It truly is the old trilogy just bigger and better and more modern. That's the problem I just want a reason that is all. Just a sentence that makes sense saying why.

    They had a purpose in the force... Rey has none. Are you suggesting each pilot is force sensitive? So what some people are just naturals at things podracing is possible and is ENHANCED by the force. Luke built his own lightsaber so he obviously did more training that we saw in the movies. Yes luke does it after what a minute or two? Again Hoth wasnt built overnight. So he most likly trained then as well. What if Luke just grabbed the lightsaber in Ep IV and dueled vader and choped off part of his mask... Would you be fine with that? Thats whats Rey does. Its unnatural. Again who would win the professional fencer or the 1 month in fencer? Luke trained of the falcon... Rey didn't. I mean in Ep VIII She is still training with swinging the sword around as seen with the rock. She just beat Kylo Ren! It contradicts! Having a hobby and being good at it and then it being enhanced by the force is different that a battle using force powers. Im decent at model rocketry its a hobby. Doesnt mean im a Rocket Scientist.
