Wait, so do the batteries need to be on the craft at all times or can they be jettisoned upon takeoff(Since drone cores themselves have batteries)?

Tiger engine, it's in Airplane Plus. It can't gimbal, but can afterburn.

Something random I did Issue is that it doesn't have a lot of fuel, but it can turn sorta fast and fly sorta fast. Dunno, might submit some other time.

With the making history expansion coming out soon including the mission editor, it would be cool if there was the ability to stage dogfights against waves of enemies

Wait, you could have just used advanced tweakables. As long as thrust isn't affected, that's technically legal.

Right, I think I'm done working on this plane. I do still have my other plane on KerbalX, but how much fuel should the plane have about in order to reach the start position and turn back to fire?

OH THIS TRIGGERS ME(not your post, but the fact that my plane just hates working) I moved the BDA modules under the air brake, but the plane still decides to roll when I pitch. I even tried using a service bay AND checking for any uneven aerodynamics, but still. HOWEVER, I tried flying without SAS, and I could loop normally. Still, it's impossible to pitch and roll at the same time.

Well as for engines, airplane plus has f22 thrusters. try them out.

I like the design of this. When I look at it I can't help but see a missle carrying missles!

I went ahead and did some editing to my craft, but now it feels really off to fly. If I pitch, the craft just rolls on it's own, maybe something needs to be added or removed. https://kerbalx.com/popinstuff12/F-Lazer-Mk2
