  1. You know you're a noob when try as you might, you can't even pull off an Apollo-style transposition and docking.
  2. Seconded. I used to just pack in radial mount parachutes and a bunch of decouplers to physically lop off pieces of my plane so when things went south I'd just let the cockpit parachute to a landing.

    Poyekhali!

Thank you so much for the hint, @Kerbal101! I guess most of my problem lies in the rendezvous, as I can never get close enough in a coplanar orbit.
  4. Is there a way to force the game to not update? When 1.3 dropped it broke all of my 1.2 mods and it wasn't fun. Now I'm playing with 1.3 mods and I don't want those to break when 1.4 drops.
  5. I don't like using the stock LES much because of the aforementioned sideways kick it does rather than a steady sideways arc. On stock Apollo-style missions I'll use one but I don't think I've ever actually had to abort with one, because if things go south I just revert the flight. I do, however, use it with the Soyuz mod when I launch Soyuz spacecraft.

I guess I can say that I can *sort of* dock, for Apollo-style missions where it's fairly easy to translate forward, turn around, then translate into the docking port on my lunar module. But multi-launch docking projects are just so hard to me.
  7. Howdy! Been playing Kerbal since around late 2016 so I'm not the best at it, but I like to have fun regardless. Mostly I like building stock approximations of real spacecraft and illustrate my ideas for future spacecraft. Still can't dock to save my life though!
