  1. Oh, well. Your answer made me think about kopernicus, and since in the latest version changelog I read something about launch sites, I downgraded to 1.4.3-1. The bug disappeared, so if you want a quick fix, there's that. The downside is that old launch sites appear on the map (in the original kerbin location) and that my fps seem to be lower, but I think either version can be switched if needed, so I'll keep 1.4.3-1, complete my contract and install 1.4.3-2 again. P.S is it normal that my fps is really low when playing in gpp? I usually get 60 fps with scatterer and SVE, but here i get 30 fps max with any vessel in any situation (landed, flying, orbiting, etc). I have a pretty decent pc, so that's not the problem.
  2. I assumed that too, so i started by removing all mods that weren't stricly made for 1.4.3 but that wasn't related i guess . I hit the button many many times, but i'll check anyway to see if it works. To check if our issues are related you could try launching the craft i posted, that made the game break 100% of the time for me
  3. Sadly yes, the problem is not exclusive to that vessel. For instance, I had the problem after assembling a surface station with surface experiment package, where everything was attached to ground with KIS and KAS. I couldn't recover one of my first orbital flights either until the third or forth landing either.
  4. So, while looking for a planet pack to start a new MKS colonization based career, i found this mod. The amount of work that went into it seems enormous, given the custom cfgs for every major mod. My congratulations on this masterpiece But as soon as i install GPP, a big issue appears with some vessels. I can't recover them after landing, nor save, go to space centre or even quit the game. Basically everything that includes modifiyng a save file becomes impossible and the only way to exit from this is revert to a previous save or force close the game. This is my gamedata folder: I found a way to reliably reproduce this bug with this vessel I built for a test contract. After staging and decoupling i can't recover it anymore. My ignorant guess is that debris near the vessel somehow interefere with the saving process, since the issue usually appears in simliar conditions, but I may be completely wrong. Here is my output log when trying to recover the vessel or quitting, near the end there is an error that I can't find a reason for: link I first encountered this bug in a mod pack with most of the recommended mods plus the umbra suite and some other addons, but removing every other mod and using a clean ksp install (where recovery worked fine) to only install gpp didn't fix it.
  5. Ok, I went as far as deleting the whole folder, reinstalling ksp and manually installing gpp only. The issue persisted, even after creating another save file where I built the same 5 part vessel that couldn't be recovered. I'm going to post this in galileo's planet pack thread, since it seems this bug wasn't caused by me. @Gargamel Thanks for help
  6. So i tried removing a lot of mods, including some related to movement or vessels like bonvoyage and easyvesselswitch, all of roverdude's mods, but it didn't work. I'll try to reinstall all my mods manually and see if that helps, since i installed some of them with ckan, otherwise i'll keep removing mods, but the ones i have now are either dependencies for gpp or mods i added after the issue first apperead and that seem harmless to me. I'll report when i'm done
  7. I'm playing in a custom install with galileo's planet pack (amazing piece of work) and some other mods including the umbra suite, but i'm having a big problem in both my sandbox and my career save. Sometimes, when i try to recover a landed vessel, the game just ignores any request. I can't save, go to space centre, tracking station, or even quit the game. I can't do anything to save the game, i can only load a save, revert the flight or force close. I checked the debug menu and the output log and it's full of argument out of range exceptions that seem to be caused by debris near the vessel. In fact, i wasn't able to reproduce this issue voluntarily, but it happens 100% of the time with some vessels. I built a simple 5 part craft consisting of a mk1 pod, 2 radial decouplers and 2 small tanks for a test contract, but upon decoupling, there is nothing i can do. I can EVA, control the vessel, but i can't recover or save the game after the decoupling happens. It's really frustrating because i could be unable to save after a long mission and lose all my progress. All my mods should be up to date, i made sure to have the latest 1.4.3 version of every addon and tested my pack with various mods until i found my ideal combination, but the issue appeared even when i only had a few of them.
