    The only thing that determines if a plane will take off is AIRSPEED, something that is not determined by whether it is a regular surface or a treadmill, or whether the wheels are powered or not. Lift is the only determining factor that dictates whether an aircraft will take off or not. I really fail to see how this thread has gone on for so long as i felt the need to intervene.
