  1. So I uninstalled MechJeb2, reinstalled it also with CKAN. I put MJUnlocked.cfg in the game Dir and no go. Next tried the the MechJeb2 Dir still no go. All in the current game and in a new clean one. Could the name be a issue?? As I remember a few years ago unlocking this it was not this hard, it seems as the file structure has changed.

  3. So I tried this and it did nothing??? Put it in the " \Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program " Dir? Wrong spot?
  4. I looked thru all my cfg files and did not see anything I missed. Not sure what you mean buy setting. SORRY
  5. MechJeb2 If anyone is familiar with the cfg files of MechJeb2 files please help. I need to unlock it so I can use it from the start in science Mod. I have done this in the past but it seems. as i have forgotten how to do it or the files have changed, or both lol. The config files that i have found are... en-us.cfg This looks like it supports various language MechJebNoCommandPod.cfg This looks like it sets the locks in sandbox and career/ science part.cfg This also shows the Locks along with the mods specific's. LandingSites.cfg Location of landing sites I have changed MechJebNoCommandPod.cfg and part.cfg in all the spots but it does not work. from %MechJebModuleSmartASS { %unlockTechs = flightControl } to %MechJebModuleSmartASS { %unlockTechs = start } and // --- editor parameters --- TechRequired = start entryCost = 15000 cost = 750 category = none subcategory = 0 title = MechJeb Features- Rover Autopilot Thanks for any help
  6. You could try cloning your KSP and then start removing Mods or try reinstalling Global Construction. Do you use CKAN? That may also be a issue, try adding the Mod manually. Just thoughts, sorry.
  7. You need the Ground Kit Container not the Dockable Kit Container. The Dockable Kit Container is just for use in space to build a kit. The Ground Kit Container is used in the VAB. Right click on it and, select the menu option, select vessel, load it, and you are good to go. Now you have to move it to an assembly area to build it. Dockable Kit Container is build the kit and then assemble it in space. It confusing, i know and so is the UI.

  9. I have a orbital set up and started testing things. Test 1 Build a ship. first one is a Tug for moving things around. Build progressed fine and then came the launch. Thinking it would be a good idea to keep it docked till i got done with another build, I selected docked and not launch As it turned out DOCKED does not mean docked like to a docking port. DOCKED means ATTACHED to the structure. Minor point but confusing. Redo the test, launch the tug and dock to a docking port. Works Test 2 Build a new container to replace the one i used. This was easy, build was fast. So i used my tug to move over and dock to the new container, on the transportation node Now comes the fun part, no docking locations, not even the real docking ports work. So i have MechJeb 2.8.4 and it does not see the " Control from Here: Construction". I dock with a secondary docking port on the tug to a real docking port and thinking that could i build something here with it on the tug. Seems to work at the start but then the container just decouples from my ship and floats away. So how do you find all these hidden docking location? Looking at the youtube video it looks like the Dockable kit Container was located on the end if the Orbital Workshop. How was this done? Hidden port location all over the ship?
  10. Mechjeb2 Cant clear landing location. I'm lander on Menmus and want to take of and land at another spot. I launch and then start the Landing Guidance function, pick and spot to land and it is not able to clear the old spot. CANT CLEAR THE OLD LANDING SPOT????? Do I really need to go all the way back up into orbit to land somewhere else?? Thanks Sorry post wrong spot cant kill

  12. OK guys I do not understand to logic in this. I have a lander that just docked at my space station from a trip up from the Mun. The station has a Mobile Processing Lab MPL-LG-2 and i'm thinking, OK I'm good to go. I send my scientist out on EVA to collect the goo and reset the experiment. I get back inside the lander and find I cant do anything with it. S#%^ now what. So out go's my guy go's once more and to the MPL. he can't get in, its full. So i transfer one of the Kerbals in side to the lander and in he go's. In side and still can't do anything with the &^*%)&^% goo. I send the scientist from the MPL who is now in my lander out to try it and Nothing. SO WHAT DO I DO???? Throw it away??? Hand carry the by now stinking goo all the way back to Kerbal?? It should not be this hard Advice needed please, tuvm.
  13. Ok, find that odd you cant set up a maneuver node with Kerbla as a target like you can going the other way. Seems to cause issues being the the moons sphere of influence. Thanks
  14. Cant target Kerbal from lunar orbit. So i'm in orber around Kerbals moon and i need to do a Kerbal transfer burn. Odd thing is i cant target Kerbal. Is that normal? Mod issue? I can list Mods be don't have meany ruining. Thanks

  16. I bought Making History DLC on steam but can't for the life of me figure out how to download and install it. No DL or install option appears Thanks
