I download so many mods (all of them having 1.4.5 in the name) except when I load up my game it there's like 20 notifications saying "please use 1.3.1" or "please use 1.4.1"
why are mod makers lying?

yeah i realised i didnt post the entire thing. google docs is taking along time to load it in...

So, when I load up KSP my mods start loading, etc but then at around 1 minutes time it crashes. I play on mac

When I select any color other than the stock one the textures turn all grey. Any help?

So I made a shuttle. KER says that the first stage has 1.74 TWR but when I take off it just falls down the second I decouple the stability holder things. And it doesnt look like my vector engines are firing up but they are set to the same stage as the SRB's. Any ideas?

So, my SSTO is running out of fuel early. This is my first SSTO so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. I've watched lots of videos about piloting SSTO's and I've followed all instructions but I run out at like 33.3 kilometers

So, I'm making a SSTO that will release a unmanned probe to duna. Do I need a heat shield or will I be fine with none?

I am trying to make a giant cargo plane that can hold a smaller plane inside. But, for it to work I need to be able to open the cargo bays more than 100%... Is there a mod that I can do this with?

So, I just did a cargo run to the north pole. I accidentally eva'd my pilot and the plane is too tall for him to get back on. I've tried climbing the walls but my guy just teleports through them. Is there a cheat I can do in ALT + F12 to get him to fly or something?

In general, tailstrike usually happened because you're pitching up too high on landing, which caused rear section hit the ground, bad design with long structural element jutting up from behind which makes it very easy for getting tailstrike, or incorrect placement of rear landing gear. The rear landing gear is especially unique, when your plane takes off, the rear wheel acts like a lever, where the lifted part on the frontal section of your craft used the rear landing gear as the point of leverage to lift the rear section. When building aircraft, it's important to note that rear landing gear must be placed a bit behind the center of mass, if you put it too far behind the center of mass, your plane would have difficulty in taking off, if you put it too far ahead, the craft becomes prone to tailstrike since the center of mass behind the craft pulls the rear section into the ground

So, I just made a HUGE cargo plane that is transporting a rover. I've been flying for over 30 minutes going to the north pole. Everything went well except when I touch the ground the tail slams into the snow. I've tried going as slow as I can but it happens everytime.... Help anyone?

So, I made a jet plane, that has 4 solid fuel boosters on the side for helping it takeoff. But, when I fly everything looks good but no fire comes out of the engine?

So, I tried pointing prograde, retrograde to both of the blue ball things, and basically done everything I can (Including EVA'ing and getting jeb to push... Any ideas?

I didn't have any mods downloaded at that time. I do now though. The PE marker is on target now though. It worked after restarting a couple times and just playing for a bit.

So, I just did my first mission to the moon and landed successfully. I took of and was only able to get my AP to around 200,000 meters above the moon. I've tried using monopropellant and that got me a few thousand meters extra and I've gotten out and pushed with my kerbals jetpack. But, nothing is helping that much. I've ejected my engine and the rest of the dead weight of my lander but still it's not looking good for Jeb, Bob, and Bill. Any advice?

The mod creator said to put it in the root folder. I thought that that was the root folder. Do you know where root folder is?
