  1. Well, it seems like the version that was pushed to CKAN still includes the rainbow clouds. So I'm not sure if it's your workaround that re-introduced the problem or if there's something else wacky going on now. I'll mess around with it a bit and see if I can find anything else.
  2. This right here is what solved the problem. Ignoring the file you uploaded prior, on a clean Spectra install, with this single change, the rainbow clouds have disappeared. So this is the solution to the issue. I'm not sure if it messes with anything else, but the rainbow clouds have gone the way of the dodo.
  3. Unfortunately the file didn't do anything. Still colorful clouds. I tried completely uninstalling Spectra and its dependencies, re-installing and then dropping the file in to no avail. Which confuses me. Reverting back to the previous version of Spectra still fixes the issue, though. Mayhaps it could be a choice of renderer that provides different results? I'm not forcing any modes or anything, and my KSP command line is as follows: KSP_x64.exe -single-instance -popupwindow Doubt it would really have anything to do with that though. I'll try forcing something else to see if it makes a difference. Edit: No, forcing OpenGL or D3D12 made no difference whatsoever.
  4. I have absolutely no problem testing that for you. Send away at your nearest convenience and I'll check it out.
  5. Well, I just tested it again, and as mentioned before, playing with the previous version of Spectra seems to resolve the issue, so there's definitely something different in the current version which may be triggering it. Now, the what and why of it is beyond me, but using the previous version of Spectra solves the issue. Not sure if that gives you any idea as to where to look, but it's really not a huge deal at all since it only seems to affect the title screen.
  6. Well, it took me two manual uninstalls of Scatterer, but I got the rainbow clouds to go away. Clearly looks not-as-good without Scatterer, but... That said, re-installing Scatterer and the default config for it will cause the clouds to go back to rainbow status. It very likely is the change you made, though it does seem to only affect the title screen. The clouds in the game itself were always fine despite the ones on the title screen being all kinds of colorful.
  7. Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. Prior to this recent update, everything displayed absolutely fine. I've reinstalled EVE, Spectra and Scatterer and even tried installing it in different orders, but no different. Still rainbow clouds. Removing Spectra does fix the problem. Removing anything else, does not. Use the last version of Spectra and all is back to normal. Ignore the hex grid from Kethane. I'm sure you can still see it regardless. :p
  8. Well, the problem being it seems to refill everything, including stuff it shouldn't. Waste and waste water, CO2... Y'know, everything that ensures your Kerbals will die the second they escape the atmosphere. It also automatically increases the shielding to max, which while having protection from radiation is nice and all, instantly sinking and drowning to death after re-entry to Kerbin and landing in the water... not so much.
  9. I'm not sure if this is standard behavior, but when using the "Fill tanks and launch" option when launching a vehicle of any kind, ALL optional tanks including but not limited to ore tanks from certain mods as well as life support options (especially from Kerbalism) get restocked to max as well. This is all well and good, but when removing shielding from a command pod, one would not expect that to be set to max when using said option. I suppose I automatically assumed it worked primarily for fuel, or is that not its intention?
  10. Good thing I knew to come and look here. Was having problems with exactly what the latest hotfix was supposed to fix. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't seem to be available from CKAN which is my primary method of getting updates. Just an FYI.
