  1. Hi there after getting the game version to even work, Due to a glitch with MechJeb2 and Firespitter mods clausing thegame to fail and be stuck on the checking mods screen! I at last got the two mods above to work and got the game running again after the new 1.8.0 was downloaded and installed. then I see the version had updated to 1.8.1 so maybe this was a base update needed to make the two mods work? Anyway, now onto this mod Tweak scale Everything for 1.8.0 I got the warning others have got saying "Houston we have a problem" screen so I quit the game and got CKAN to remove the Tweak scale mod it just put in! I see this page saying about this issue and the possible fix? The S.A.V.E. mod to back up the game saves. it stated on the warning to get CKAN to install it? I would but that mod is not listed on CKAN at this time ( 31st Oct 2019 ). So I just have to do without the mod until the mod maker fixes it to work well with 1.8.1 version I now got. I can't be asked to muck around with do this maybe or do that yourself ( yep lazy sod ). I need this Teak scale mod But I wait until it works then get it.
  2. Good Day sarbian, Thank you for the information about the firespitter being fixed! Sorry I did not know about that? I just re-installed MechJeb2 by CKAN just to see if the mod works or the game does not? Much to my surprise it now seems to work Ok Both the MechJeb2 and the firespitter work and the game seems more settled. I noticed that the game version has changed to 1.8.1 now. So maybe this was a small updating? Either way all seems to be now working! I at last can play the game. Lovely Graphics for the planet Kerbin just as I read would be so! Again thanks for the advice to us all.
  3. Greetings all. After getting a copy of a reply to this problem of which I also had, The player had pointed out that there was a good chance that MechJeb2 ( even the 1.8 version ) was stopping the game from starting? I removed MechJeb2 using the CKAN which had installed it for me! And then restarted the game and that did it, my game not only started Ok But also loaded fast and running fine without MechJeb2. He also said, possibly that fire spitter mod could stop the game loading? But I have that in still along with the other mods it uses like fire spitter core neither of these stops the game working! In fact I have now 95 mods installed by CKAN and have no problems with them? So until the mod maker who did MechJeb2 sorts out the 1.8 mod so it works your best bet is to remove it and the game will run. It is a shame the 1.8 MechJeb2 is the problem, As I used that one allot for flights and landings and transfers etc. Let's hope it will be fixed?
  4. Greetings fellow players, Yep same problems with the new 1.8 game after steam downloaded it into my PC. It goes through all the mod loading and checking part with the new game running pictures of the new art work. But at the end of that bit, sticks on the making history expansion checking. Just keeps showing those new pictures and does not open to the Main menu at all? I tried it without any mods full stop since CKAN told me most of the mods it or I had installed for 1.7.8 were now out of date? No luck even with no mods at all in there? I let CKAN install then only the newer 1.8.0 mods that were either the newer updated versions of my liked mods or mods like some of the great mods I just got all fully sorted out to work well in 1.7.8. Tried that with only 10 mods all 1.8. No luck same problem get's to the end of the mods checking and loading of the making history expansion I got and just sits there! Really bad this, I t has taken away the great game mod set up I enjoyed in 1.7.8 and replaced it with a new version which don't run? I tried it in many set ups and ways and the same happens! I really no a happy player now. My lovely hard worked on ships and bases all lost as even if I get this new one running most of the mods needed for them are not supported in 1.8.0. What can I and others do to solve this?
  5. Hello, Good to see the newest ksp game of 1.7.3 having all these new mod packs! However, Every time I tried to load any of these mods using CKAN, I have found that there is a problem with even the newest Kopernicus updated mod for 1.7.3 game? CKAN reports this mod can't be installed in this game version. Same goes for any other mods that need Kopernius Or it's other types of that mod and that's even when they are stated to be compatible? Very frustrating. So sadly I will not download it even though it looks cool!
  6. Hi there.. I have installed this mod for the 1.7.3 game and don't see any extra kerbals of any of the types stated? Mind you, I have still a problem where I can't pick any more crews than the five listed on the kerbals available for flight! Any of the ones on the unpicked for capsule use or flight use in the astronaut complex are listed there but if I click on their green tick to choose them for a place on a flight not filled, The system does not let them be added to any flight list of crews? I have already put this on the forum as a problem to answer! Maybe the bug that stops me picking any more crew is stopping me use your mod?

Sorry I not replied back since posting, But the forum system is such that I was waiting for the moderator or the website controller of the forum to allow me to reply to you lovely people by the system? Sorry to do it like this. 1 > Aegolius13. thanks for the reply I can tell you the game I playing is 1.7.3 in sandbox mode so all the buildings are fully upgraded and I got unlimited cash. 2 > linuxgurugamer. Thanks for your input, You say you need the log file & information of the game & the mods installed? Well, I have found where the log file is and can copy it! But the thing is, I can't pass it onto you using the service I been told to use as I don't use it or like the look of the terms of use? Maybe I can use a link on a website of yours to send it? please let me know? 3 > bewing. Again money is not a problem as I am playing in sandbox mode! Thanks for all your great ideas and I hope I can not only reply using the right system soon But also we can sort out the problems together with my game?
  8. Hello Everyone. I come across a bad problem with the CKAN program used to keep up with the new mods we use in KSP! It has just crashed on me? Just like that, it crashed as I tried to use it this week ( 8th July ) I click the shortcut or the one in the downloads and the same thing happens the loading black box comes up as normal, But then tons of errors fill it and the bigger white text box which follows it's opening! I thought oh, right maybe there is a code error and it stops loading? I tried to redo the CKAN in the system by downloading the program again fresh and deleting the one I got? Yes I know it not a normal installed program just a small website linked shortcut icon. But the same errors happens. ( Registry Manger load<> ) I tried to post the desktop screen shot of the errors But My Opera browser can't paste it here ) Have anyone else seen this happen, or is it just my one? Please can anyone help sort this out I need the CKAN to track updates and new mods for my 1.7.2 ksp. Thank you. BTW I posted another post on the forum about "not being able to pick any crew" Got some helpful answers But 1> these good answers don't solve the problem sadly 2 > I been trying to answer these lovely people back but me being new means the forum system limits me to "0" replies, I emailed the forum administration about this, but not heard back for sometime now? So until I can reply to you lovely people please note it not I don't wish to. I just can't yet? If need be I reply to you by using the answer this question link in the post. Thanks
  9. Hello all, I seem to have got a odd problem in the 1.7.1 KSP game. For no reason I can't now choose any crew myself from the crew lists when I am setting up the crew needed for a capsule before launch? I have been picking them from the astronauts ( or is it Kerbinauts? ) without any problems sofar! Then out of the blue with no adding or removing of any mods that normally used for crew issues, I now can't pick any of the astronauts from the astronaut center? They show in the normal way in a list with all their types of job they can do like astronaut or engineer etc. But I can't in-list any. The green tick shows as I go to the end of their bar on the list and if I click it the green tick area lights as normal, But they can't be picked to be added to the available crew lists? The 1st crew seemed to be have been picked for a 7 man capsule I was sending up to a big space station I got up above Kerbin and the list of them were right for the needed crew! But now the system will not let me pick the astronauts? Any ideas? All help be great.
