  1. Oh my, it's been a wild ride for this newbie today. I managed to get myself into orbit AND landed (safely, might I add) back on the home planet. Then I decided to go back into orbit again. And again. And finally I let Jebediah out for an EVA in high space. Great fun, marvelous learning experience for Jebbie… until he tried his jetpack. That did NOT go well. He still has no idea how, but as soon as he began playing with the thing he lost sight of his ship and he was not even able to spot it, let alone fly back to it. Thankfully I've learned from these forums and reddit and F5 and F9 saved him. Then -of course, as if he hadn't been through enough already- I managed to come in too steep and too fast for a safe reentry. Somehow I finally managed to get him back to Kerbin Waters. Enough adventure for the day!
  2. Today I managed to complete one of my first contracts. Take a crew report over a specified location at an altitude of 17100+. As I'm so new to the game it took me a number of tries (sorry Jeb and Val!) but I was so proud when I finally got it right!
  3. Hello there spacefarers! I'm Patricia, 35 years old and living in the Netherlands. Finally got KSP a couple of days ago on Steam and I love it! Not much else to tell at this moment, but I figured it would be nice to pop in here and introduce myself. Also, thanks to all of you who put so much work into making information available for us newbies. Really appreciate it a lot!
