  1. I have just attempted to achieve the traveler status for this challenge. To begin, I took a small 9 crew craft, the Eveling, with 34 parts to Eve. The heat shields work but when you enter Eve's atmosphere it becomes hard to keep the shields in front. KerbalX:https://kerbalx.com/Robonoise/Eve-Boat
  2. Kerbalnaughts and Kaptains, I present to you, the Karma! A sub with just 34 parts! I carries one kerbal and is powered by three panther engines, wet or dry mode! Looking forward for advancing to traveler after this. KerbalX:https://kerbalx.com/Robonoise/The-Karma
  3. I accept this challenge! I present, the S.S. Kalabunga, a ship with 232 parts, a mass of 626 tons, and a massive crew capacity of 84. I will work on getting up to an explorer and then traveller status. Late addition: KerbalX:https://kerbalx.com/Robonoise/SS-Kalabunga
  4. Looks great! I’m excited to see the final flight!
  5. That’s OK! I too have been a while and need to finish soon. Good luck!
  6. Tip: I would allow you to put an external command seat in a mk 2 lander to “add space”. Also, good to hear your thinking about taking on the challenge!
  7. You aren’t required to build a replica of the Saturn V nor use the Muner Excursion Module from Making History. You can, and are encouraged to, build your own rocket with a three kerbal crew capacity. So, sorry if I’m being a little stubborn about this, you must keep the 3 kerbal crew in the LM at all times. Also, the LM was a tight fit, but still held 3 crewmen during the mission after the explosion. So it should hold 3 crew after the explosion.
  8. It plays a big role in the challenge as all burns were performed by it. I’ll add both for extra credit.
  9. I’m sorry to hear that. But thanks for participating!
  10. Congratulations to you both! I had a few delays in real life so I wasn’t able to play for a while, but so far I have 2 settlements coming along with 2 modules each. The Duna Orbital City Koloney (D.O.C.K.) and Dunares Koloney. I haven’t done well in the way of time, coming out a horrible year 5 day 21, mostly because I did an Eve science mission, then realized that the signal wasn’t strong enough to reach Kerbin to transmit science, and by that time I had run too many missions while waiting for a transfer. Also, the game broke by making the gravity 3 times the normal gravity, so I had to sort that out and even then there was a science stall because I didn’t structure my tech tree well. Anyways, I’ll likely get a low place but I’ll finish strong! Again congratulations to @kspnerd122 and @Raptus for finishing with great scores! The competition will end as soon as the rest of us finish.
  11. Thanks! It should be out by the end of January if I don’t have too many problems.
  12. Correct! However, you can do it in any order you like. Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve thought about this one. I’ll edit the rules a bit to make the other order of events more clear.
  13. Hello! I'm currently making a new KSP movie called Kerb Wars. So I put together a trailer for you guys! Hope you all like it! It is posted on YouTube as Common Aerospace.
  14. One question has been going with humans for years now. You all know it but I’ll say it anyways. If you were trapped on a deserted island, and you could bring a limitless supply of an item in everyday life (silverware, trees, apples, etc.), what would it be? I’ll start. I’d bring duct tape. It is magic and should be celebrated on a Global Duct Tape Day. Even Jeb couldn’t mess up with it, right?(Jeb tries to build boat, gets mummified in duct tape.)
