Downgrading Kerbalism from 3.11 to 3.9 did the trick! Helped myself at the end, but thanks Cheescake for your effort too. -

Thought downgrading SCANsat from 20.4 could help while it is for ksp 1.10 where there is stock magnetometer. But it didn't. Reinstalling of both SCANsat and DMagic orbital science with proper version for ksp 1.8.1 didn't help either. -

I noticed that my save file still contains data about finished magnetometer experiments though. So something in game must block it somehow: Science { id = magScan@MunInSpaceHighNoBiome title = Magnetometer Scan while in space high over The Mun's NoBiome dsc = 270 scv = 0 sbv = 2 sci = 9 asc = True cap = 9 } -

Hi, I haven't been playing for half a year and in the past I had few incompatible mods so I looked for mod updates and updated all mods now. But what happened is that somehow Magnetometer Boom is not able to measure magnetometer data, only SCANsat data. Whole magnetometer experiment has disappeared, even from contrats to conduct magnetic field research. Anyone knows what could possibly cause this? Sorry, my bad, I haven't noticed that Ckan didn't update the database and showed Kerbalism 3.1 is the latest, after update everything works fine. Thank you all who work on this mod, it's superb :-)

Hi, I have an issue with malfunctions. I launched unmanned probe. It has been in space for 160 days and no malfunctions have appeared, which us understandable, it's just 160 days. But when I switch view to that probe, suddenly reaction wheel is gone, solar panels gone, probe core gone... When I load the game and do the same again, other parts malfunction when I go to the vessel. This is weird. Normally I have some malfuntions on my vessels from time to time which I think corresponds to the malfunction rate, but this instant malfunctions after skipping to a vessel after a long time shouldn't happen. This happened already to me on another vessel, but loading the game several times helped and finally after many repetitions the vital parts survived and I could finish the mission. Now it really bothers me, because I made many other missions in the meantime... How could I stop this to happen? KSP version 1.8.1, Kerbalism version 3.1 Thanks

Hi, I'm having some issues using Remote Operations System together with Kerbalism. It works fine on my space station when no Kerbals are onboard, I can still control the station. But now I used it on unmanned ship instead HECS or OCTO, but the ship is uncontrollable. So I tried to find out why it works on one ship but not on the other and I found a strange behaviour. When I add some part that can carry Kerbals, such as MK1 Crew Cabbin or Hitchhiker Storage with no Kerbals onboard, suddenly Remote Operations System works and I can launch the rocket. Is there a way to fix it somehow? Thanks.- 1,553 replies

Hi, I found a small bug with Castor and Anvil boosters. In VAB, I had only Castor booster, but when I tried to launch the rocket, it changed to Anvil booster. Also when I saved the ship, in text file of the ship it said it contains Anvil booster. I found files for both boosters in Restock plus folder and found out that Anvil is hidden. So I think your intention was to replace Anvil with Castor, but the link in game somegow still exists. Deleting the Anvil file from game data solved the problem. And thaks, the mod is awesome :-) -
Maybe you mean Mk1 Command Pod, which is not pressurised. But Mk1 Lander Can is. It behaves so. When it's connected to the station with noone in, when I turn off the habitat, the pressure starts slowly dropping, when I enable it again, the pumps raise the pressure to 100%, everything works well. Just the crew cransfer from the pod triggers some bug I think.

Hi, I'm having problems with nitrogen consumption when connecting my lander to space station. On all parts, habitat is enabled. I connect lander to a station with docking port, everything's fine. But when I transfer the crew from lander to space station, I start loosing nitrogen rapidly. As if the pumps were presurizing the lander can, but the can says habitat enabled, not pressurising. This way I lose all my nitrogen in few minutes. I tried other thing, went for EVA with lander crew. Lander can habitat switches to "pressurising", uses some nitrogen and after few seconds it evens the pressure and the nitrogen consumption stops. And then I can board the crew to the other station parts. Strange think is that this happens only with the Mk1 lander can. When I transfer crew for example between ship with Mk3 command pod and the space station, I loose no extra nitrogen, which is corrrect in my opinion. Anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi, I'm having some issues with Kerbalism together with DMagic Orbital Science. There are those Long Term Magnetic Field Mission contracts. I took one to gather data from Kerbin. I launched a probe with magnetometer and RPWS and it's collecting data just fine from both high and low orbit. I took another contracts to do the same around Mun and another for Minmus. I launched the same probe, achieved the orbit around Mun according to the contract. But both experiments say "invalid situation", when I try to get the science data. I found out, that the problem is, that around Kerbin it's collecting data from space low (inner belt), space low(magnetosphere), same from space high, but not from space low (global). When I look in the list of experiments from Kerbalism for Mun, I see space low (global), space high (global) for magnetometer and RPWS. But, orbiting around the Mun, when I look for the current situation in experiment context menus, I see space low (magnetosphere). That's why there is the "invalid situation" message. I tried to change the orbit but still I was not able to reach the "global" situation. How are the situations "magnetosphere" and "global" defined? Thanks.

Hi. I use this mod together with Kerbalism. Maybe this is question to Kerbalism developers or maybe I'm just missing something. I took the Long Term Magnetic Field Mission around Kerbin. But the situations are either Mun space low or Mun space high, both are in the list of experiments given by Kerbalism. So I don't see a reason why it works around Kerbin and not around the Mun. I tried to change the orbit parameters, get lower, higher, change the inclination. But still the same problem. Anyone experienced this issue?
