A while ago, I had a mod that let me go directly from building to building, or to the KSC. Not sure what it was called, but QuickGoTo seems to have that function. Maybe give that a try, and see if it lets you bypass the problem?- 2,205 replies

I know updating each mod for each game update is a tonne of work, but with KSP reaching a "final" version, would it be possible to update all the RO mods to the 1.12 version?- 2,205 replies

One more thing that I'll add is that if you select RO on CKAN, after hitting "apply changes" and continue, it should offer you all the suggested/recommended mods as part of RO, as well as install all of the dependencies.- 2,205 replies

Real Chutes is listed as a dependent mod, so I wouldn't risk it. When you say there are no parachutes in the part list, does the parachute tab show up for you? Is it just empty? Also, if you go to the space center, you should be able to open up the real chute settings and see if there's anything in there which would cause an issue.- 2,205 replies

I never got my KSP issue fixed, and I'm back at it currently. Someone mentioned updating the smokescreen for 1.7.3- I found I could uninstall RealismOverhaul, and reinstall it, and with the reinstall came the required mods including the smokescreen. Then I just include anything else that got uninstalled with RO, and I'm good to go. Well, other than the one part which is missing from all my spacecraft. I think the issue I'm having is related to the RO craft files or RO engines, but they seem to be incompatible with each other. The part I need is, I think, the LR101 engine, which is included in the game, but not recognized by the craft files. It also has different properties than I'm familiar with, so I think the mod I originally found it in was replaced. Correction: The part I used was the TD-339, which is no longer in the game. Again, my issue is that when I try to load my save, it says vessel "is missing part RO-SurveyorVernier" for almost all my spacecraft (I used this engine a ton), which happened after I updated from 1.6.1 to 1.7.3. I'm using the full RO suit, along with a ton of other mods, but I tried not to remove any part mods when I updated. I'm going to try digging around in the part files, and maybe try to just make a new part.- 2,205 replies

Honestly, at this point I wish I could revert back to 1.6.1. That worked fine, but I can't get 1.7.3 working.- 2,205 replies

I really enjoy RO and I've been using it for a long time. I just found out that it's available for 1.7.3, so I updated, but that did cause some issues. After reinstalling a few mods (I don't think I ended up removing any*) I got the game to start up, but it cannot run my save. My save was played with KSP 1.6.1, RO. I'm using ckan, of course. I'm having trouble posting a screenshot of my error, but I can easily describe it. When I click on my old word and hit load, a window pops up asking for conformation, saying that certain vessles are missing parts. Since I use the SurveyorVernier on most of my spacecraft, each of my spacecraft in orbit is saying I'm missing that part. At least, it seems each of my spacecraft has the same warning. Vessel "is missing part RO-SurveyorVernier". 1. Will these crafts be deleted if I load the save? What will happen to them? 2. Is it just part of a mod that I somehow removed? 3. Should I be using ROEngines or RO craft files? It marks them as incompatible. * I tried switching, which required uninstalling one. This didn't fix the issue, but instead, seemed to add more missing parts when I had removed the original, craft files. 4. Is there anything I can do, or any information I should provide which would be helpful? Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
