  1. Nertea, I'm trying to update to your latest revisions, but when I go to load my game, I'm getting a message that several parts are missing: rcs-aero-heavy-1 fueltank-5-4 battery-stack-51 These all are from NearFutureLaunchVehicles, and in the new version they all have an "nflv-" prefix in the file names. Should I roll back to an earlier version of the mod, or can I just rename the files to strip the "nflv-" prefix from them in the current version?
  2. The large nuclear engine ship I've had the most success with is this guy: It's a single Liberator with 6 of the large graphine radiators. It doesn't overheat, thankfully. If I use the Emancipator in place of the Liberator, the engine will overheat very quickly. The most vexing engines are the nuclear aerospikes. I mostly use the close core engine, below, but I can only run the engine at full power for a couple of minutes before it begins to overheat. This ship uses 8 of the smaller extendable graphine radiators (it also has one of the 2 meter fission reactors and an a 2 meter ISRU embedded under the tanks). I can keep the heat stable of I run it at 65% throttle or lower. The Stubber motor I've had a lot more success with. I run a cluster of 6 of those engines with the large graphine radiators for around 15 minutes before I start to have heat issues with them. Since my last post, I've unlocked the high-end fission reactors and the Colossus MHD from your other mods, and those have become my go-to long haul propulsion. I've built a very solid propulsion bus with them for a planned Jool mission. I've attached the below image just to show off. Also, do you have any plans for tackling fusion power and propulsion. I tried KSP Interstellar over the weekend, but that mod has got a ton of stuff to unpack...
  3. Help! I started playing KSP again a couple of months ago, and the first thing I did was install nearly all of Nertea's mods (having some good memories of using them when they first came out). I now find myself needing some help with the Liberator and Emancipator engines. In the title screen shot in the OP for this thread, the ship is using an Emancipator without radiators, and from searching this thread, I believe I shouldn't need radiators unless I've installed an "integration patch"; unless such a patch has been bundled into the mod since that post (2017/2018), I haven't done that. However, I'm finding that I'm needing to use more than four of the big graphine radiators from Nertea's Heat Control mod to keep a single instance of either engine type from exploding when doing a long burn (such as an interplanetary transfer). Stock radiators just aren't cutting it. I'm using Nertea's 7 meter fuel tanks and engine mounts, too. I've also applied the patch that makes the atomic engines use LF instead of H2 for fuel. So, do I real need to have all those big radiators for these two engines? Or am I doing something very, very wrong?
