  1. There is the public relations problem of idiots writing offensive messages on their rockets and then posting them all over the internet.
  2. Just be aware that most of the parts are buried pretty deep in the tech tree. I had to grind KSC science in order to unlock the parts to build an R7 replica.
  3. This is exactly what I'm doing. I like upgrading my buildings and unlocking tech, and I like the direction that contracts bring to the game, but I didn't want to have to fight for every Kerbucken.
  4. I note that Farming Simulator has a wide variety of mods on Xbox, as does Surviving Mars, and Fallout 4/Skyrim, but those last are AAA so somewhat different.
  5. I set my drogues to 2.9atm/5000m and my mains to 6.8atm/3000m, this gives about 500m drop at semi-deployed for both chutes.
  6. How do you turn off trim in the settings? Pause the game. Select 'settings' or 'options,' I can't remember which word they use. Scroll down and there should be an option to disable trim. It might be on one of the other tabs (not audio, obviously) but it's not a difficulty setting. Personally I turn trim on for aeroplanes, it's useful in landing, but never for rockets as it's just not sensitive enough.
  7. That's not weird at all. I started my career with XV-# (for eXperimental Vehicle) and XR-# (for eXperimental Rover) - the XV series working from a small SRB up to a sub-orbital V2-equivalent sounding rocket, and the XRs used for gathering all the KSC science so I could get historically early technologies.
  8. I'm playing a combined historical career. My unmanned launchers range from K7 to Kerbuz, while the probes are called things like Muna or Evera, and my manned programmes are Moho, Kerbini and Kerbollo, on Greengrass, Kerblas and... well, I haven't decided on the Saturn equivalent yet. Not very original, I know, but there it is.
  9. It's also not a good idea because the pad is extremely sensitive to impacts. I've landed a craft at around 5 m/s and had the thing just explode under me.
  10. Please, please can we have precision mode for flying our rockets? The KSPedia for consoles still mentions precision mode but it's no longer functional in game. The ability to see our orbital parameters would be hugely appreciated too.
  11. The pink arrows represent trim. LB/L1 and LS set trim. LB/L1 and L3 resets trim. You can turn trim off entirely in the settings.
