  1. @Poodmund Btw, sneak peak of what I'm doing (but note this is a LONG way from completion): https://boardgamegeek.com/image/6945570/texasbard
  2. @Poodmund I had tried running v1.3.1 through steam, but none of the mods would work when I did that, even if I used a compatible module manager. Thankfully--your sample video was sufficient to get the visuals I was looking for, and I have enough mixed mod visuals to do some editing. Thanks for your help!
  3. Hey @Poodmund, I'm working on a fan game (it's a digitization of the board game Leaving Earth 1956 - 1976, and optionally allows play in the Kerbol system, with the OPM optional) and was trying to gather visuals for the graphics. If possible, I'd really like to use your versions of Tekto and Thatmo (I admittedly am undecided on the gas/ice giants, mainly due to the color changes), but while I have been able to get past the astronomers visual pack problems that give Tekto Eve's atmosphere and Thatmo what looks to be Kerbol's atmosphere, I still have yet to get the textures and scattering to look as good as they did at the peak of this mod. Especially the clouds. Do you know a way to restore the old textures with proper scattering, or at least have some high-resolution, full-dayside shots of each world (including tilted urlum) with all the textural bells and whistles? Here's an image to give an idea of what I'm working on--this is a game board, hence the bunched up look. I'm going to expand on this for OPM. https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2879582/sneak-peak-things-come The planets and moons as you see them are actually only "basically surveyed"--there's also an "advanced survey" version which will be using the high-detail visual overhaul appearance--typically from AVP but they don't have good visuals for the OPM.
  4. Here’s one: Create a fantasy world mod with deadly planets inhabited by ferocious flora and fauna and add weapons to spacecraft so you have to not only land on said worlds, but defend your ship and kerbals as you daringly try to collect science. There’s landing on Eve and collecting science from the explodium sea, and then there’s landing on Eve and collecting science from the explodium sea—while using a chain gun to fight off extra-terrestrial sea monsters!
  5. Just to be clear—it is acceptable to perform a stage separation early, then have that stage catch up to the rocket and dock (as long as separation is complete before attempting to re-dock). Better still is to dock components from two separate but simultaneous launches. Best of all is to have a launching and a re-entering component dock in midair and continue on the launch trajectory. Automation for trajectories is acceptable, since it would be kinda hard to steer two flying vessels at the same time manually.
  6. The challenge is this--perform a successful rendezvous and docking DURING THE LAUNCH INTERFACE. For bonus points, perform the docking while AT MAXIMUM DYNAMIC PRESSURE (Max Q). For the ultimate challenge--de-orbit a second stage vehicle, intercept this vehicle with the launch vehicle and dock during launch, then drop the first stage and use the docked second stage to continue launching into orbit. If even that isn't enough--achieve this on another planet--particularly Eve or Tylo.
