Thanks so much Entropian, guess I'll have to try a different engine :)!

I am trying to land on eve, but a single engine in the middle of my rocket keeps overheating and exploding. See picture taken just before it blew up. Is this a bug? I can't understand why this is happening, I even put a heat shield directly under the engine (in addition to the inflatable one) and nothing changes. Apologies if this is in the wrong section Thanks, Tom
