  1. This is an amazing mod! Though I stepped away from KSP after the failure of KSP2, I enjoy coming back now and seeing how much this mod has grown! As of writing this, I'm currently generating a modest 3 stars with many planets and moons about them. I will certainly keep posted on how this goes!
  2. Agreed. It turns out that ImageMagick wasn’t working, so i did the thing it told me not to do and set it to false in the limits script. 100 stars generated this way with 2-10 planets and 0-5 moons won’t kill me, eh? Right?
  3. SpaceDock and Github gave the same results. I tried both 9.5 and 9.6 with galaxy from both platforms.
  4. Hey, I’m away from my PC at the time. it did the same when i tried to generate 100 stars prior, where it would only generate one or two. Is the program supposed to just shut down when it’s done, or is it supposed to tell me that it’s finished? That would help me figure out if it’s busted or if I’m just very unlucky.
  5. I figured out that the system crashes immediately after it loads the color scheme for the first star. The next line of code is half-written and then the thing crashes.
  6. Okay, the executable itself isn't working properly. I'm on Windows 10, and it's all stored on a 2TB hard drive I installed recently. I got one star to load, but it looks pretty broken and none of the planets that were supposed to load did. I ran this test on both .95 and .96- .95 is the one that got a star to load in the first place. I asked the program to generate one star, two planets, with one moon each. It only generated the star, as previously mentioned. Here are the screenshots: https://imgur.com/Wadngkc https://imgur.com/hJ3gCw6
  7. When I click off of the System generator, it crashes. Is this normal? Nevermind, it just crashes after it tries loading the first two stars. I'm going to fight with it some more before I start asking more questions.
  8. from Craiyon: https://imgur.com/a/su0jT05 bottom left image. This is the Rocket: https://imgur.com/a/YNZYO8D I also generated the flag. took the bottom one from this screenshot. From Craiyon: https://imgur.com/a/uSamD3I Will follow up with launch + mission
  9. I'm having the same issue while playing on 1.12.2; it may be due to the version of parallax or perhaps the version. I'm checking parallax version first.
  10. Glad to hear! do you have any suggestions or tips for me to make? I'd love imput, currently going off of an idea I had a year ago.
  11. I got inspired by a few things. Gameslinx, a bucket of rocks, and TWG's Arkas development. I've thus decided that I would like to learn and experiment with Kopernicus every day (i can) for 365 days, starting August 11th, 2021. My goal is simple. Make a planet pack that's enjoyable and way over the top, that's compatible with some other big names, *cough cough* OPM *cough cough* and overall just a fun learning experience. For the first few days before the challenge begins, I'm going to try to expand my small brain to fit the universe of Kopernicus inside of it and teach myself the basics so I can make something neat. Any help would be appreciated. Day One; My Birthday: I kicked off this self-proclaimed-challenge with a bang, (or maybe a boom?) Huge thanks to TheWhiteGuardian for helping me along thusfar, I probably bore him to death. After over two hours, plenty of help, and trying to figure out how to convert files from .txt to .cfg, I successfully Created DAWN! the center of my new system. Until I get a home planet made, Dawn will be orbiting Kerbol at a really safe distance (so I don't have to look at it unless I want to) I also started work on a small planet named Prova. Day Two: Today was very busy, with school and some exercise. I had very little time to work on anything today. I started on a gas giant (~7x Jool's size) that will be white with gold accents running through it (and maybe a thin, highly inclined ring from a munar collision) I'm only about halfway done with the config file of it. Maybe I can finish it tomorrow.
  12. I did it about two weeks back but didn't record it. Using a ~7.5 ton lander, it took me 27 3.75m heatsheilds to descend from low Reaper orbit. Heating stopped at around 40-45km altitude. Landing used 3 drogue chutes, 4 normal chutes were deployed after, and the probe was safely on the surface. I took a rather average descent profile, too, after using hyperedit to put it into the lowest safe orbit. any higher and it would have been game over. Basically, due to heating restraints, it's impossible to return from reaper unless you use ELP.
  13. Mod discussion. I was thinking I would warrant some sort of cool response from it. I've already landed on Reaper and returned, so I can just delete this now lol
  14. I burnt up entirely at ~90km in altitude. That's why it's such a hard challenge.
