    New Vostok on new Soyuz 1.5 m. I had to make a scale stock KV-1 capsule, since "Vostok" of tantares was outdated. This is launch site in the desert (replaces this boring vanilla place with Kerbo-Baikonur) for stock system.

    Now a really simple UR-700 (all credits for original idea goes to Zarbon44). These are only Tantares and NFT (for nice construction), without TweakScale or any configuration settings. This is just a quick prototype (so it is not decorated), But from this it is possible to create specific variants UR-700 or UR-900. This also works very well in flight (new single RD-253 made it easier to create second stage now)

    mainly for similar reasons I abandoned KSRSS as an outdated one in favor of stock system x2.5 + OPM, because the VO and Parallax configs work great, there are no orbital mechanics issues, and you get a modern kerbo-Baikonur (Launch Sites Appended)

    I know this may be off topic, but after MEK, does anyone know about the russian nuclear tug Zeus being developed? (although in reality I think it was cancelled in real life). It is very difficult to create in KSP due to the terrible sliding truss system (bad mechanics and shortage such parts force us to edit cfg and use tweakscale). When time comes to deploy all these parts in space, you get 100000 bugs and stress. I wanted to use early concepts that included a liquid droplet radiator (I quickly simulated this through Waterfall). This all fits perfectly into the Angara A5 fairing (Eisenhower Astronautics): When unfolded and working it looks like this:

    This Mars project of Chelomey is on Astronautix, and there is also on "russianspaceweb". MK-700 (astronautix.com) It should be launched on UR-700M (an even more monstrous version UR-700) or UR-900. Although, after reading it again (and many many more times), I realized that most likely these are images MK-700 option for flying around Mars without landing.

    Does anyone know more details about MK-700? This is an alternative to MEK, using NTR like RD-0410 / RD-0411. The problem is that I haven't found anything more than that: I have no idea where or how the Mars lander is hidden here. There are no details at all. I'm afraid that since these were secret projects on paper, details of how this monster works could only be given by Chelomey himself if he were still alive. If anything - the very top is the big TKS (what Tantares name Big VA). Other parts are available from ReStock and NFLV (RD-0411 and large fuel tanks) Mars lander will most likely to Tantares custom LK-700. But... without details it's difficult.

    Are you sure the engine placement is correct? "Mars 1986" with a 2 nuclear reactor is essentially the same Aelita MEK 1969 project, but with duplication of nuclear reactors. It seems that in case of failure, the second section can be undocked, and the ship will continue to fly on one nuclear reactor. In this case, the engine on the side makes this absolutely impossible. The only major difference is that the mars lander was redesigned, since it was no longer possible to place it in front of the ship.

    You may get into trouble. It's easier to do this with BG, what's the problem? This add-on came out a long time ago, it is almost free on sale. And it is much cheaper in price than KSP2 (on the basis of which you planned the further development of Tantares)

    This is stock aerodynamics, only increased in x2.5 scale. In any case, Soyuz works great for me.
