Touchdown!
Driving
Entire colony in one shoot!
Base in the center "Ice" and "Cream" on two sides!
Summary:
Rovers don't do well on minmus, I did a lot of quicksaves. It is recommended to use ion powered hovercrafts on minmus. -
Two questions:
1. Does it still look remotely as good without scatters?
2. How do I disable scatters

Go to duna with an SSTO, no nuclear engines, rescue a kerbal while you are there.
Uhhh... Can I get a respin that does not involve SSTOs? I am still quite bad at SSTOs.
-
Update:
I discovered an issue with the rocket:
Upper stage can blow up lower stage (Can sometimes blow an engine on upper stage)
I was unlucky and accidentally blew up most of my engines =(

Okay, start designing.
It might be my first successful SSTO

Spin the Wheel!
Easy stock planets spin please?

Okay, I'm back with a new rocket.
I have been working on the Aurora X heavy and also this rocket
This rocket worked better and has a much lower part count
So here we go!
This is an upgrade of the original Aurora X
I originally plan on making the aurora X heavy but the rocket is still under construction and shakes itself apart too often
The Aurora X had some issues involving it going booms when making turns
I have fixed that along with some other issues
I've also reduced the part count =)
Note: it was designed for orbital flight of heavy vehicles, it was not designed for interplanetary flights. just fit some NERVs in the payload bay for interplanetary travel -
Pioneer III
Oversized Europa HLV on pad.
Liftoff!!!
Vessel in the air
Gravity turn
Orbital insertion burn
Minmus ejection burn
Minmus capture burn
Lander+Core module in orbit (note: I launched the ander here because my Europa HLV was oversized, so I had some extra Delta V, I decided to reduce the amount of launches so I launched the lander too)
Second launch: Crew + ISRU + More solar panels + relay sats module
Liftoff!!!
In the air
Gravity turn
Fairing separation
First stage separation
Docking( I forgot to capture screenshots while doing the maneuvers required to get here=(, so This is all I got)
Docked!
Playing with relays
Note: This is a modded entry, though the space station is stock. The only reason why it is modded is because I have some SCANsat scanners on the relays to scan minmus. I did add a farm on the station. Other than that, it's completely stock

Pioneer II Space station
Europa HLV on the pad, moments from liftoff!
Liftoff!!! The 5 mastodons and the 14 vectors of the Europa Class HLV ignite.
Second stage in space getting the station into orbit.
Orbit achieved!
Kerbal on EVA.
Show of the station near the north pole just a bit over 170 km from the surface.
Apoapsis: 173 km
Periapsis: 169 km

hmmmmmm......
MOAR BOOSTERS!!!
-
Krakvibrification
Def: When you summon the kraken and it causes your craft to vibrate.
-
When Jeb complained about Delta V issues when launching bigger payloads into space with the previous Aurora rocket, the Kerbals proposed a rocket that could do everything he wanted to do, single launch all your space stations, bases, Jool 5 crafts, and much more, all in one giant monstrosity. Link here!

I just started playing a couple days ago. I've watches several tutorials and finally managed to get to orbit and back safely tonight. It wasn't a pretty orbit, but it was stable.
Welcome to forums! Great job on your orbital mission.

Hi, I'm back after developing three different rockets.
Aurora 5 - V1: Capable of lifting very big payloads to LKO the Mun and Minmus. Download here.
But wait, there's more!
Aurora 5 V2- Capable of lifting medium Base pieces to Duna and Eve. Download here.
But wait, there's another one!
Aurora 5 -V3 Capable of lifting small relays to any planet except Moho. Download here.
That's it, enjoy flying the rocket! BUUUUT WAIT. I used the Aruora 5 V3 to get this Relay to LAYTHE.
-
Continued developing the Aurora 5(Warning, Very big).
-
Could there be wind that disturbs the flight path of the ship and makes the game more challenging. The wind's direction is random and can be turned off in settings.
-
-
I sank probes into the ocean on kerbin.
-
Docked my second space station. There will be more.
-
Fun Fact: When I docked for the first time, I didn't know that I docked because it was at night time. I just thought that my space station was destroyed during a crash because it disappeared. I time warped to the day to realize that I docked.
-
Continued testing the Firefly 5 plane. Launched more relays.
-
Please be reminded to check the staging, I will try to update it.
-
The Aurora is a very capable rocket. It is capable of getting to anywhere from LKO to Dres. Spicifically, the version in this file is suited for interplanetary travel. By removing the adapter and the wolfhound third stage and replacing it with a fairing, you get a LKO version capable of lifting heavy space stations and base pieces to the Mun or Minmus. Anyways, it’s a very capable rocket.
Click to access KerbalX link.
Note, this rocket contains both DLCs.
