Hello I'm interested in learning how to mod. Specifically, I want to be able to change the heads of Kerbals. Kerbal Space Ponies by Veon already does this, however I'd rather not have Ponies from Friendship is Magic. This might involve coding, modelling, making .dll files, but I have ZERO experience in ANYTHING related to modding. Where would I go to learn all of this? I've got no idea where to start.

This mod is absolutely amazing. Small problem though, I get a ton of errors from B9partswitch relating to some parts. Are there known incompatibility issues with modded parts?

hello, so i tried downloading AVP and that didnt work but i fixed that problem by removing celestial shadows . dll because that was "incompatible" (this is the most recent version of EVE) so i could play the game again. however, clouds simply arent working. they recognize the configs and arent doing anything with them. i have the most recent module manager aswell.

Hello, im new here, and ive been playing KSP for around 50 hours so far. For some reason, my visual mods started failing (one of which is EVE) for no apparent reason, so i tried installing AVP. It did work, kind of. kopernicus said a custom planetary system was not loading. yet, i dont have any. and i didnt see a plantary mod in the dependencies of AVP. The next problem is EVE. i tried removing it to reduce GPU usage, which wasnt the problem, however, when i tried reinstalling it, the thing didnt work. it said there were no configs, except the configs are in the folder of ksp. ive installed EVE 2 times now with the same result. can someone help me with this? and the more critical problem is the kopernicus error, which prevents me from playing entirely. it would be greatly appreciated if someone can help. have a good day! EDIT: from the menu screen, it seems EVE is not working. however, i can semi load the game (semi load as in its just the hud and a black screen) and go to EVE settings, where it no longer says no configs. And also, i looked in the files of AVP and found Neidon rings, which is from a planet pack. i installed that and it still resulted in kopernicus saying an error resulted in the planetary system not being able to load. could this be because i downloaded the wrong AVP?

Replying to @Benzo Kerman i found that out a bit before you answered! i turned reflections off and GPU usage reduced 60% now i can play without lag!

hello, im new here, and ive been playing ksp for about 50 hours with graphics mods, and i seem to get alot of lag for no apparent reason. i use a NVIDIA RTX 3060 laptop GPU and it is somehow using 99% of it, causing the physics simulation to slow down, however, the odd part is my laptop is barely heating up and i dont even need to use my cooling fan can somebody please help with this? i know it is using my dedicated GPU and my graphics mods are Parallax, SVE textures, EVE scatterer, and maybe another. i read about the RTX 3060 and it should be way more than enough to run ksp, and my usage readings are from NVIDIA experience and task manager and they show the same results. i would really like to be able to play KSP without 8 FPS so i can fly planes or explore planets. additionaly, ive been able to play Elite: Dangerous on high graphics and no FPS drop. its a bit hot, but its fine. if somebody can find a solution to this, it would be greatly appreciated!
