  1. We did it boys, KSP 3 is confirmed Good to see NFS and NFLV getting some love, I never felt like they where super high priority projects.
  2. Ha. At least they are legal in the UK. Our clowns of governments have shoved a S-IVB up the asses of all us Aussies Personally, massive fan of CSP. Im building one as a little hobby. They are interesting, especially for power production at night.
  3. This bickering is a bad look on this community. You can disagree with peoples stances, and whatever their perceived failures are. It is, after all, his mod, and while I don't agree with his decision, expressing grievances elsewhere may be more appropriate. Annnyyyway. New parts lol? I thought Nertea had finished up.
  4. Hey all. Not new to the forums at all, and after a hiatus. Im back.
  5. In my mind I'm thinking of large, Aircraft Carrier style blast diverters. And really that tank farm is a disaster waiting to happen. A loose spanner, shot out by the 31 raptors puncturing a hole and fire. (Assuming those vertical tanks do actually store the fuel. I may be mistaken).
  6. IFT-1 - Big Damage. Required a complete re-think of all involved systems IF2-2 - Moderate Damage to the Test Stand, much reduced everywhere else IFT-3 - There was damage? (Sarcasm ). Mostly dents and dings. Am surprised there are no moves to build some protection for the tank farm, for example. At its rate, by IFT-5? the damage will be low enough, and SpaceX well enough versed in the way of the 3 R's. (Reduce Damage, Reuse parts and Recycle what they can).
  7. I would like to interject with the fuel bars suggesting total fuel capacity for the mission (not the total design capabilities).
  8. Thats Soyuz. A relatively imprecise, Parachute landing system. That is the size of a van. Light years from the pole of a Falcon 9 landing to within 10m of a target, retrorepulsivley. (Arguably the parachute makes it harder, but it all it does is makes go all over the place)
  9. Also, planes are powered. That mayyy come in useful Falcon 9: 6:1 ratio SH: 3:1 ratio Certainly a lot better
  10. Launch maybe. Landing is a hard pass into the dirt for me. The booster is too light with too little wind resistance. A dangerous combination.
  11. Age doesn't matter. I for one somewhat agree (for once)(IM not even American) with what the US government is doing. Yes, there is probably some lobby from American companies to try to regain a foothold that they lost, but I don't believe I'm mistaken when I say that TikTok has some, interesting, requests when accessing your phone (We have, ahem; decently accurate GPs data (not entirely sure on accuracy), all communications through the app (ok that's not bad, pretty normal really), the full contact list (for friends or something, but is that nessercary?), it can theoretically access other apps open at the same time, but there no recorded abuse of it (that we know of), run at startup (why?), read incoming badge notifications, install shortcuts. While the average teen does not give the slightest concern about security in the slightest (guess I'm an outlier ), Journalists should not have it on their phones, because there ARE recorded cases of data being assessed (They were trying to find the sources). So while banning it for the general public is probably anti-trust, its seeming promotion of anti-American material is probably problematic, and if ByteDance sells, at least PIPL and DPL are mostly defeated (Yes the data are stored but as a case in point earlier, they can still access it, and I would not be surprised to see if some copies are under Chinese law). TikTok isn't am active security risk, its a potential security risk that can and has be exploited.
  12. I would like to propose the possibility of the sem-failure of the final booster relight. The tanks were not fully loaded, even at launch, so there may not have been enough fuel to create a nice, clean, no-gas relight. Of course, those oscillations didn't help.
