Hello! I got free time and I decided to post screenshots of the launch of my apparatus for the testing of the Epstein drive I promised to test into a low reference orbit (LRO 90-100 km). This is a kind of rocket-type shuttle for takeoff and landing from non-atmospheric planets and satellites. Although the thrust of liquid rocket engines allows me to go into Kerbin orbit on my own. I immediately decided to fill the ЗАРЯ «ZARYA» shuttle with as much science as possible and make it in an autonomous self-sustaining version. I chose the layout of the rocket shuttle not according to the scheme of a rocket plane, or a ship-type spacecraft. It's simple: Where there is acceleration, there is floor. Based on the fact that the Epstein drive will accelerate and decelerate 99% of the flight - this multi-story scheme is best suited. No need to rotate any centrifuges. Crew of 8 cucumbers: 2 pilots, 3 engineers and 3 scientists. Two drilling rigs for the extraction of minerals and their subsequent processing into fuel. Epstein's main propulsion engine has not yet been tested. A little later I will go to Muna to test the flight engine, landing and all other systems. For the present I do not know where potential errors and shortcomings will meet. As I progress in the tests, I will share the data.

Ок I recently installed this mod for myself, removing the good but cumbersome KSP Interstellar Extended mod, and installing this one because of Epstein's drive. In fact, the engine itself has not yet been tested under constant load, but as I understand it, based on the KSPIE mod, this engine, or rather its engineering, needs very powerful cooling. Only this applies exclusively to the KSPIE mode, in the MEV mode I did not see a strict list of additional equipment for the normal functioning of the engine. Try experimenting with heatsinks. Can overheating be removed? I can also see the possibility of showing mods on the engraver, some kind of collection in config files. But that's just my guess.

I recently installed this mod myself, removing the nice but cumbersome KSP Interstellar Extended mod that I used to install solely because of the Epstein drive analogue. In fact, the engine itself has not yet been tested in a constant load, but as I understand it, based on the KSPIE mod, this engine, or rather its engineering, needs very powerful cooling. Only this applies exclusively to the KSPIE mod, in the MEV mod I did not see a strict list of additional equipment for the normal functioning of the engine. Try experimenting with heatsinks. Can overheating be removed? I can also assume the possibility of conflicts between mods for heating, some kind of failure in the configuration files. But that's just my personal guess.
