Hello I have the following science branches researched: Basic Rocketry, General Rocketry, Advanced Rocketry, Fuel systems. Also Engineering 101, survivability, stability and basic science. My question is: Is possible with those pieces build a rocket capable of reaching the Mun, plant a Kerbal there and bring him back to Kerbin? I'm a lousy engineer and always short on fuel (or maybe too much weight?) My best rocket is now capable of reaching the Mun (reaching only the vicinity, not orbit it, cause If I orbit it will not have enough fuel to reach Kerbin) and then back to Kerbin, but nothing more, that rocket is also very hard to control, cause it carry a lot of fuel. So is possible to put Jebediah on Mun and bring it back with the pieces I have available? Or should I research more science before trying that? And If I need more science, which ones? Thanks! And I have a small request, any tip of doing a rocket capable of hauling probes, pods, science equipment, etc with enough power and fuel to reach Minmus and Duna and back? A rocket that can be the foundation of my space program. P.S. I started playing with probes, but why I can't control them? Game says they have no SAS, do I need the advanced inline stabilizer to play with the probes?

How low should be the polar orbit in order to get the hability of taking biome samples?
-
Without any scientific equipment? Simply launch a capsule without engine, make the Kerbal goes EVA and walk around?
-
Will try that mod, but to collect more science visiting biomes will not be better to purchase "plane" science so I can overfly the different biomes and gather more science?
-
Thanks guys, but what in the world is a biome in Kerbin? And how can I get there?

I have 36 science points and this science technologies. But I'm a bit lost of what to do now, I used the junior lab and the boogie capsules in all flight parameters so I cannot get more science from those, so what should I do now to get more science? any idea? And once I get thos 9 points which tech should I get in order to get more science? Thanks!

I upgraded the launch pad but I don't have enough money to upgrade the vehicle assembly building so my rockets are not big enough to let me stablish a proper orbit, so that's a fish biting his own tail as without money to upgrade the vehicle assemble building I cannot get into orbit, without those science points I cannot build more effective rockets... -

I'm solving the stability issues using winglets now, but it seems I'm getting short on power to reach orbit. Sigh. -
I started a career mode in 1.0 and all went well until I have to start using the liquid fuel pods and the engines (the second one that is capable of being controlled), using the solid fuel engines I can reach more or less 10.000m, but when I start using the liquid fuel engines the rocket became uncontrollable so I can never reach the proper angle and speed to leave Kerbin atmosphere and I need those liquid fuel engines so I can control the burn near the apoapsis. Can someone help please? Also, is there any way to survive a reentry while carrying the small lab? Thanks!

Planning to build a small space station, but what is the smaller space station I can build that can acomplish this premises? - Have to be manned - Need to be expandable with other modules - Want some windows to see Kerbal from space What can you think?

How can I put a satellite in orbit?
RealDarko replied to RealDarko's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I will explain a bit more my problem. I buil a rocket. - propulsion stage that put me in orbit - decoupler - satelite - decoupler - small propulsion part and command pod so I can go back. So I reach orbit, prop stage out, that stage will be forever on that orbit, the same one of the satellite, and I want that used stageto go back to Kerbal so it doesnt stay orbiting at the same height of the satellite. Is possible?
