  1. I've never done air launchs before it's a big step from week 1!
  2. Actually, when I landed on Mun for that rescue parts, my stranded kerbonauts were gone (they were waiting in EVA by the flag they planted) but there was a kerbal that was supposed to be back at the base waiting in their stranded rocket. More details here. It's my favorite bug so far.
  3. Don't know if you figured it out but you can workaround by pressing V to set a manual camera angle (chase, orbit or horizon). Won't fix the bug but it will allow you to keep playing.
  4. I brought Val and Jeb to the Mun. Some weird bug happened and Bill mysteriously took their place. I brought Bill back but stranded him in some forest, so tonight I'll send a plane rescue him. Also, I almost got stranded there with not enough gaz to come home but I remembered to burn retrograde from Mun's orbit to lower my kerbal periapsis and fling myself back in the atmosphere. Good thing there was no atmosphere, Bill got 15G in his green face upon reentry. Next mission, I think, will be sending low-orbit probes around Minmus to try to find cool stuff.
  5. Windows 11 Family Edition Acer Nitro AN515-45 AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU KSP2 build id: 1064168 Summary: after a munar landing, Val and Jeb disappeared into oblivion along the flag they just planted, leaving behind their empty rocket in which Bill Kerman mysteriously teleported. The whole thing is available as a two-hours long french speaking VOD on Twitch for the next 59 days. I was going for the #KSP2WeeklyChallenge, launching Jeb and Val aboard a 3-stages rocket (let’s call her Rocket 1) culminating with a lander. Everything worked out fine except for lower atmosphere shenanigans. Val planted a flag and they both took a selfie. Mazel tov. I prepared a second rocket which was a copy of Rocket 1 but with improved fuel supply on the lander and a probe control module. The goal was to send the empty rocket pick up Jeb and Val, thus completing the stretch goal of the challenge. What went wrong: Upon launching what I will call Rocket 2, I realized that pesky Bill Kerman wanted a piece of the glory, and was seated in one of the command module seats. I instantly reverted to VAB. That’s where stuff began to go wrong. Screenshot from my twitch VOD: At this point, the game froze at loading screen and I had to ctrl-alt-del to desktop. Uh-oh! Back at the VAB I tried to remove Bill from the seating but I realized he wasn’t in the roster anymore. I was now set up on Launch Pad 2 by default, I checked quickly and I saw a Default Named craft on Launch Pad 1. I recovered it, and not thinking about it twice, I proceeded to launch the now-empty rocket, which we’ll call Rocket 3. Rocket 3 landed about 9 km away from Rocket 1, which I call a success considering the poor state of the map UI. When I focused back on R1, Jeb, Val and the flag were nowhere to be found. But that’s when I noticed something else. Bill Kerman, seated in Rocket 1, a mission he never took part of. Jeb and Val had just vanished from the face of the Mun, and Bill teleported from Kerbin to Mun. I finished the mission by having Bill stroll to Rocket 3 and sling back to Kerbin, a mission that would have ended badly had there been reentry heating. He was out of R3 when I recovered the craft and then realized there seems to be no button to recover a single Kerbal (is that a bug or a feature? I don’t know). So now Bill is stranded in the jungle and Jeb and Val are, I guess, vanished in the ether. Good luck sorting that one out.
