    This may or may not be related but I have the exact opposite issue. I remove a part in VAB, save get to the pad, and then a should be deleted part appears and collides with the one on the pad. Edit: This is not related, it's a debris deleting issue. A previous craft that met the kraken before liftoff left a launch clamp and some stray wings that never went away.
