  1. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64bit(10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: i7-12700F | GPU: RTX 3060 12gb | RAM: GSKILL DDR4 32gb (x 2) @ 1600mhz SPECS: Attached SEVERITY: Medium - Non-crash, Partially game breaking. FREQUENCY: First time - Not sure of cause, unable to reproduce. DESCRIPTION: KSP2 has it's bugs, most are harmless nuances that can be worked around, which I don't mind and don't bother with bug reports as they are common Issues, but today I was messing around trying to build a fighter jet, I had a fuselage and mirrored engine + wings. During the placement of the tail stabilizer (mirrored) I miss-clicked and picked up the entire mirrored wing + engine assembly. This is normally not an issue but doing so completely disabled my symmetry on this craft file, and in-turn removing half of my plane (as you'll see in the attached video). I have not found a work around yet. WHAT I'VE TRIED: I've tried to fix this by googling solutions and then trying them to no avail. I've tried reloading the craft file, issue persisted. I've tried closing and re-opening my game, Issue persisted. I've tried copying and pasting. I've tried looking through the craft file for anything obvious (I can't see anything that sticks out). THE EXACT STEPS: I have tried to reproduce this twice (It's kind of annoying as it requires building two slightly complex assemblies, one of which being mirrored) and it has not worked. But here is how it happened. - Step 1: All Small Parts: Cockpit, Reaction wheel, 5x methane tanks, Reaction wheel, Rear facing nose cone, **medium** landing gear under first methane tank, in that order. Adjust the rotation and merge parts together a little bit using the rotation and translation tool. - Step 2: All small parts, mirror symmetry, parallel/level with fuselage. attach to the middle of fuselage: Air Intake (place this in-front of the next part), Engine Nacelle, Pre-cooler, J-X4 "Whiplash" - Step 3: Mirror Symmetry, Place small wing on the engine nacelle, translate it upwards to sit level-ish with the main fuselage, place stabilizer on the front of the whiplash. change the procedural wing specs a bit, make them bigger smaller etc not sure if that's relevant to the bug. And then join the engine pre-cooler fuel to the methane 4th methane tank with a fuel line. - Step 4: Mirror Symmetry, Place a stabilizer on-top of the whiplash with mirror symmetry ON, then grab the entire mirrored engine + wing assembly as one piece and it 'should' fail and disable all symmetry all together. 2. As seen in provided screenshots, I have an intersect with the mun, which then ejects me back around kerbin, for another intersect with the mun. Current Trajectory (Intersect #1): I am unable to create a maneuver plan. Future Trajectory (Intersect #2): I am able to create a trajectory (for some reason?) This simply seems like a mix up in the code between which trajectory the buttons are available. so hopefully an east fix? Note: this is directly after updating to the first patch. PC specs are in a previous post of mine if required. Steps to recreate: get an intersect with the mun, which then gives you a gravity assist for another intersect with the mun, this will show you your current intersect in BLUE orbital lines, and future intersect in ORANGE orbital lines. 3. KSP Version - 0.1.0.0.20892 Operating System and version - Windows 11 64bit CPU and GPU models - Intel core i7-12700F / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Fixes / Workarounds (if known..) - None A list of ALL mods - None Other Notes: Fix Pls
  4. After 10 attempts of me failing to create a working space station of any size/form using docking ports, it's safe to say that this is a pretty serious bug. No, I have not altered any files and this is a fresh steam install of KSP2. (yes I've tried uninstalling and verifying game files) Summary: Docking 2x or more crafts together causes them to lose commnet connection, spin faster and faster uncontrollably (SAS/RCS worsen this), even though all the prerequisites for a functioning docked craft are present, and both crafts functioned fine prior to docking. Required to recreate: 2x Vessels comprised of the following: At least 1x of each, Probe Core (any) , Command Pod (any) , Kerbal, Battery (any), Solar Panel (any), Antenna (any), >0 EC, >0 MP. Steps to Recreate: Get 2x Vessels into any orbit around any celestial body, dock the two vessels together. Expected Result: The two craft are docked together and I can continue as normal. Actual Result: Both crafts uncontrollable and rendered useless, regardless of how many quicksaves and reloads. Please reply to this topic if you are experiencing the same issue.
  5. Required to Recreate: At least 1 x Rapier Engine(+ 1 intake of your choice) attached to a craft containing at least 1x Full Methalox Fuel Tank (Liquid Fuel + Oxidizer). Steps to Recreate: Launch Craft, fly to a stable altitude within Kerbin Atmosphere, Engage Closed Cycle Mode on the Rapier Engine when your Liquid Fuel is close to running out, Wait for burnout, stay full throttle. Expected Result: Rapier Engine Burns out, Remaining oxidizer stays inside the fuel tank. Actual Result: Rapier Engine Burns Out (with half a tank of oxidizer remaining), Rapier (and everything attached to it) explodes, Fuel tanks empty. Craft destroyed. Summary: Rapier engine seems to vent all remaining oxidizer when liquid fuel is depleted, causing an explosion. Realistic? Maybe... Bug? Maybe... Annoying? Yes.
