  1. I believe the females should have a different shaped eye than their male counterparts. Like almond or oval shaped as opposed to the circular eye of the male. Thoughts?
  2. Can you script up a way to install mods by dropping individual files into folders so I don't overwrite everything everytime I install something new?
  3. No problem! The PMA is the Pressurized Mating Adapter used on the ISS to connect two different sized docking nodes. Do you think you could make the same thing as the Lean but going from 2.5m to 1.25m?
  4. Anyway you could add image tags so that the images are right in the post?
  5. Damn Skippy. Ever see Outland (1981) with Sean Connery? Golden.
  6. I feel the same way, especially with special effects. Remember puppets and robots doing all the creature work? I think thats why I love Farscape and 2001: A Space Odyessy. They chose to use simple tech, as opposed to making some fancy computer graphics.
  7. Yeah, I was thinking that too.. I found a website that has all the different modifications done to the shuttle and my photo looks consistent with the first iterations of the shuttle.. Here are the links if you want to take a look for yourself. 1st: http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/images/atlan1.gif 2nd: http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/images/atlan2.gif 3rd: http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/images/atlan3.gif 4th: http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/images/atlan4.gif 5th: http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/images/atlan5.gif
  8. Can't find any info on what mission this launch was from, though. :/
  9. YES! Thank you! From the final mission? Awesome.
  10. Obviously, it's not the Buran because it says NASA right on it. :|
  11. Hey guys, So I picked up this print in a thrift store for two bucks awhile ago, I love it to death. But that being said, the entire time I have owned it, I can't seem to identify which shuttle this is and what mission it was. So, I figured, why not come to the community of quasi-experts? Can you guys help me identify this shuttle? I want to say it is Atlantis, but I could be completely wrong.
  12. I tried that, but couldn't find the model at all for the left wing section. It seems to be non-existent in my directory. Sigh.. The Kliper is fun, but I need to start bringing up some serious payloads.
  13. I don't know if anyone else had the issue with the Buran, where the left section of the wing was missing completely from the pack? Maybe it was just me, but it's been for the past two releases of the Soviet pack. Help anyone?
  14. Would it ever be cool to see someone make a Cupola with that transparent window plugin. Would be neat to see a Kerbal floating around in my space station. haha
  15. Any plans on recreating the models for the actual LER Mobile Base? P.S. This is amazing, I've been wanting to use the LER for so long now.
  16. The ISS community pack has the monster sized panels from the actual ISS! No link from me, though.
  17. It unfolded as it was stowed on the side of the descent module, like so...
  18. I've been messing around with them, but haven't found a fix yet. :/
  19. I hear by name number 6 on Kerbin, "Stupid and Redundant"!
  20. Models look great so far, probably the best hollow structures I've seen yet!
  21. Comments like this make newbs feel alienated, this happened to me all the time on this forum. Great start! But like he said, make sure you are looking at the center of mass and the center of lift! That second SSTO just uses a NERVA engine? Get some air intakes and some jet engines on there and save yourself the Oxidizer for the high altitude burns. The ISP on those NERVA engines are so low when you're in the atmosphere, you'll be doing yourself a favour by changing them.
  22. I double down on that statement, shouldn't be an issue with NERVA's. Increase your altitude further out from Kerbin, that way you spend a hell-of-a-lot less time in the shadow of the planet. Might work, might not.
