Do what you must. Though I wanted to say that your mod is always on my list whenever I reinstall KSP and I tend to spend hours flying around Kerbin in the ranger. It's a great way for me to practice my vertical landing skills. Thanks for your hard-work and I wish you luck in continued development for KSP2!
