Many thanks, Abrexus! I\'m not sure you should stop playing Benny Hill, because that pretty much encapsulates every time I try to land, at least... I\'m presently working on the next track in a series, an entire suite of music intended to capture the entirety of a there-and-back munar excursion: 1. The Few, the Proud, the Green (launch) 2. Moonrise over Kerbin (orbit) 3. Onward and Upward (Trans-munar Injection) 4. The Descent 5. Surface of Mun 6. The Journey Home/Splashdown A little ambitious, but what the hey, it\'s summer and I have some spare time.

Hey gang, So I know I\'m super new here, but KSP has fast become one of my favorite pastimes, and I was immediately inspired to write some music for it because it has none. I came up with something I enjoy listening to while playing so much, I couldn\'t help but share it with you all. So load up itunes or whatever you like, put this on, and launch some rockets. I tried to capture the majesty and quirky humor of the game at once and I don\'t think I did too bad a job. Without further ado, I give you 'The Few, The Proud, The Green'. Feedback appreciated!

Well, that was awkward. On a whim, I totally designed my stock craft, and Lo and Behold, I made it all the way to a Munar orbit with a tank in the penultimate stage and another in my descent / return to kerbin stage. I carefully maneuvered into position, and at 50,000 ft, I jettisoned stage 2... ...along with my landing legs. Yeah. Forgot about those. So I decided to try and land anyway. If I\'d had legs, it would have worked. Since I didn\'t, this was the result.

Update! Made it to the Mun for the first time! I sort of accidentally ended up transferring orbits to the mun, and lo and behold, I ran out of fuel on descent, so I crashed into the surface. My weakness seems to be fuel management (har) and the fact that when I try to reduce my perigee while in orbit on the moon, I seem to always come in on a very steep angle relative to the Mun\'s surface... I know how to change the axis of an orbit, and how to make it circular / more elliptical, but how does one change the angle of the location of the apogee relative to Kerbin?

Greetings from distant worlds! I was compelled to post today because after a week of playing KSP, I finally did my homework (after killing 1000s of the little green dudes) and was able to achieve orbit today quite easily. I took a picture as I descended back down to terra firma, and found quite a nice composition I thought I\'d share...here\'s to an explosion-reduced future (although I\'ve never laughed harder in my life than at KSP 'fail' videos on youtube...)
