  1. This is the bug report: @FireDown35 - please consider upvoting as looks like we have same issue. @TeacherDoug - you might have same issue but worth checking your player.log file. If you see same errors as in my bug report then please upvote the bug report to get devs attention.
  2. Some additional information: After googling the errors shown in log appear in Unity forums. This thread talks about the errors and devs are discussing some workarounds: https://forum.unity.com/threads/d3d11-failed-to-create-2d-texture.392286/ This issue tracker reports a fix in new version of Unity to KSP 2. https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/multiple-errors-appear-in-the-console-window-when-reimporting-a-scenetemplate-asset-that-contains-a-texture-with-width-slash-height-not-divisible-by-4
  3. I have similar issues and I've just created a bug report. - not visible yet so waiting for it to be approved. Once it is I'll share the link to it as it has all my hardware details in too. But in player.log file @FireDown35 shared it has the same errors I see in my player log. I have RTX 3090 too... Googling these errors show some resuts with Unity issues with workarounds: https://forum.unity.com/threads/d3d11-failed-to-create-2d-texture.392286/ https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/multiple-errors-appear-in-the-console-window-when-reimporting-a-scenetemplate-asset-that-contains-a-texture-with-width-slash-height-not-divisible-by-4
  4. Well I confess I am a fan of the solar system - but then it is our home. KSP is partly educational and I would like my kids to explore the solar system as it used to be. It's more relatable than some fictional planets.
  5. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home - 10.0.22621 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x | GPU: Nvidea RTX3090 driver v546.33 | RAM: 32GB RAM Expected - game to run without crashing What happens - Game runs for up to 10 minutes before crashing. Monitor goes black and actually it loses signal from the graphics card. Can still hear sounds and num lock lights on keyboard work. But no way to return to windows so have to powercycle to recover. Issue seems more likely to occur when near Kerbin surface. Observations: Issue did not seem to happen with KSP 2 before the For Science! update Fixes tried: Checked latest drivers, latest Windows Updates Used verify integrity option in steam Deleted existing KSP save data and started new game Performed memory checker mdsched.exe with no issues found No issues running other games Reducing graphic settings Tried setting KSP from Fullscreen to Borderless in settings. 6. I would have loved to have seen outer planets as part of KSP 2 initial release but since they aren't there now maybe it is better to let devs focus on Interstellar for now. An alternative idea is that a future star system to visit is actually the solar system but perhaps at a different point in time to now. Either in distant past - perhaps Kerbals cause a moon of Saturn to explode and make the rings, knock an Asteroid towards the 3rd planet or take a bath on the 4th planet; or in the distant future and they find the remains of an ancient civilization...
