  1. KSP Version : 0.1.1.0.21572 OS: Windows 10 CPU: Intel 10700kf @ 4.8 GHz, GPU: RTX3080 Description of the bug: Attempting to connect multiple docking ports together at once, or multi port docking, results in a crash to desktop. Now while this isn't a 100% result, it does happen most of the time. Any docking port combination seems to trigger this. Expected Behavior: For two craft to dock, being joined by more than one docking port. Steps to Replicate: Get any two craft near each other with more than one set of ports capable of alignment and docking at the same time. Get the ports close enough to dock, and proceed to most probably crash to desktop. Fixes / Workarounds: None, other than quicksaving before docking and retrying. Hoping that the low chance it works, actually happens.
  2. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: Docking Alignment | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 64-Bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (24) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24340MB) | RAM: 65459 I am building a complex ring station. The final pieces need to dock two ports at the same time. The vehicles glitched into each other, the game claimed there was a successful dock (see "clonk" sound in video), then the game crashed (see log in bugpackage). 3. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Intel Core i7 9750H | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 | RAM: 16 GB Sometimes when I revert to KSC game crashes. It closes without error message. With my pc configuration game with medium settings has 50-60 fps in VAB, ~30 fps on launchpad, 50-40 fps in space and on Mun. You can see these stats in discord perfomance sheet (same nickname as on forums)https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x3N0bjxx6TGFx3pn5kuVW4lOOFNerSn22yHsbzGB60c/edit#gid=141509734 Attached log file Included Attachments: Player.log
  4. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home | CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU Driver version: 31.0.15.5123 | RAM: 16.0 GB Fresh campaign of For Science, booted game and immediately went to VAB. Created craft with base parts, order Command Pod-2 Larger methalox tanks-engine-coupler-3 tanks- quad of 3 surrounding tanks with engines attached to each. To collect science, took craft to launchpad with intent to collect surface science - did not launch craft whatsoever, instead took crew report, went EVA, and collected surface samples and EVA report. In ESC menu, selected "recover craft" while still EVA, and when going back to tracking station craft was supposedly still there - selected "recover craft" in tracking station to no avail. Then clicked "fly craft" out of curiosity and got stuck on loading screen, prompting a force close of game.
  5. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X | GPU: Nvidia RTX 4060 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 Severity: High - soft crash. Tou can't Launch, random buttons stop working, after exiting to menu you won't be able to load or start new game. Frequency: Reproducable Description: Create new vessel. Start with Mk1 Command Pod. Attach TVR-200 below it. Rotate the camera te the left 90 deg, so you can see door with #04. Using 2x symmetry (pressed X once) attach FL-T200 to the LEFT node (marked on SS). Still using same symmetry copy fragment of the vessel below Command Pod (TVR-200 and two FL-T200s). Rotate fragment 90 deg (pressed E once) and attach under the LEFT FL-T200 (marked on SS). Still using same symmetry add LPS-250 to the CLOSER RIGHT FL-T200 (marked on SS). Your vessel should look like on the screenshot. Using wing shape menu change wing span to something like 0.15. With wing shape menu still visible, save the vessel. Launch. Revert to VAB. Using wing shape menu change wing span to something like 0.18. With wing shape menu still visible, save the vessel (overwrite). Save menu should still be visible - that's the sign you reproduced it. Enjoy. Launch doesn't work anymore, cannot edit the craft. Most buttons don't work. If you exit to menu, you cannot create new game, loading a game will get you stuck in loading screen. A lot more stuff probably happens, but i did not try most options. If you press CTRL+Z and CTRL+Y to "reload" corrupted craft after step 16, you can grab the FL-T200 with the "original" wing and try to reattach it. You will get "VAB/Messages/IvalidSymmetryAttach". That's the simplest craft I tried to reproduce the bug. Seems like it works only when you attach the wing to the part that was created by symmetry, so directions in the guide are important. To open the wing shape menu I was using the "original" wing, not the one created by symmetry but i don't know if it matters. The bug was also present in v0.2.0. Yes OS: Win11 | CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz | GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080Ti | RAM: 8 I pressed "revert to launch", the initial load screen popped up but the game never started the load and after alt tab, screen remained black. 7. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win 11 22H2 | CPU: i9-13900KF | GPU: RTX 3080 Ti | RAM: 32.0 GB Occasional to frequent crashes to desktop (CTD) leave partial and unusable files behind. I've become afraid to use F5. Sometimes I'll go 20-50 minutes between crashes, sometimes it's 10 crashes in a row. Things I've done: 1. Verified Steam files. 2. Copied save files out, deleted Intercept Games folder in AppData, put game files back in. 3. Reinstalled without deleting files and directories left behind by the uninstall. 4. Reinstalled, deleting files and directories left behind by the uninstall prior to reinstall. 5. Started a new campaign with absolutely NO clipping. 6. Monitored my GPU and CPU to verify that heating or load were not the problem. 7. Cleaned the cooling system on both anyway, just to be sure. Now I keep a Windows Explorer panel open and every time I CTD I have to check to see if: 1. The latest save's .json file is considerably smaller than the previous one. 2. The latest save failed to create a .meta file. If the above are true, I delete them and reload the prior save, which sometimes sets me back quite a bit, forcing me to redo a maneuver, landing or takeoff. I've attached two consecutive saves, one good, then the files left by a CTD. This was an aircraft flying straight line. Included Attachments: Good_and.bad.zip
  8. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D | GPU: ASUS GTX 1070 | RAM: 32gb DDR4-3000 Launched a rocket to complete the Exit the Atmosphere mission, then once I hit 75km I tried to open Mission Control to check if I could grab a new mission to achieve orbit while I was up there. Pressing "Esc" triggers the audio cue for toggling the Escape menu, so I think it did load Mission Control, but the splash screen from loading just never dismissed. 9. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home - 10.0.22621 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x | GPU: Nvidea RTX3090 driver v546.33 | RAM: 32GB RAM Expected - game to run without crashing What happens - Game runs for up to 10 minutes before crashing. Monitor goes black and actually it loses signal from the graphics card. Can still hear sounds and num lock lights on keyboard work. But no way to return to windows so have to powercycle to recover. Issue seems more likely to occur when near Kerbin surface. Observations: Issue did not seem to happen with KSP 2 before the For Science! update Fixes tried: Checked latest drivers, latest Windows Updates Used verify integrity option in steam Deleted existing KSP save data and started new game Performed memory checker mdsched.exe with no issues found No issues running other games Reducing graphic settings Tried setting KSP from Fullscreen to Borderless in settings. Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7840 HS | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6550M | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 5600 MHz I had eight or so unrecovered vehicles from failed launches laying around the KSC. I went into the flight tracker to recover them. After five or so recoveries the 'recover button' became unresponsive on the three vehicles remaining. I tried clicking 'control' on one of the vehicles that couldn't be recovered, which booted me into the "loading" screen, but there was no progress bar and the application became unresponsive.

  13. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win 10 | CPU: AMD 5600x | GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 | RAM: 16GB My game crashes during random parts of playing the game, typically shortly after launching or orbiting. The game freezes, then crashes back into windows login. Changing the resolution does not help. Switching the display mode to borderless seems to fix the issue. Updating the GPU drivers does not help. Display is 4k with gsync enabled. I have checked file integrity via steam.

This has only happened since I reached Tier 2 rocketry. I am providing logs from two such crashes that occured in a short span. On a subsequent flight, the maneuver plan lines failed, but I believe you are already aware of the return of this bug. Included Attachments: Crash1.log Crash2.log

  17. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win 10 | CPU: i9-11900k | GPU: 1060T | RAM: 32GB Scenario: Launched ship, almost got to Mun. Had to revert to launch, worked as expected. from that launch, I then had to revert to VAB. Instead it loaded me to what must have been a quick save near the Mun? then game crashed to desktop. After I started the game again and loaded my save file, it loaded me to the same quick save, the ship exploded instantly leaving me to just jump to vab without revert .ipsImage { width: 900px !important; }
  18. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: windows 11 | CPU: i7 | GPU: rtx 3080 | RAM: 32 Steps: 1 tank attach 6 Radical decouplers attach 6 tanks to them at bottom view attach struts between center tank and 6 radial tanks copy center tank and attach copied to bottom node of center tank. Game crashes to desktop. I have repeated this exact same setup twice.
  19. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: win 11 | CPU: I9 | GPU: RTX 3080 TI | RAM: 64 happened twice: 1)In VAB, hit ESC button. Change from fullscreen to borderless and after that game seems to confuse everything, you can timewarp, you can't edit vessel. If you go to main menu, main menu doesn't have any UI. 2) This happened today, but not at same situation at all: I crashed very large vessel at launch pad, returned to VAB, pressed launch button and then this freeze appeared.
  20. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT | RAM: 16GB Severity: High Frequency: Happened once Happened when I revert to VAB from the flight shown in another bug report The video shows the game blocked inside VAB. When going to launchpad it immediately give crash report instead of switching scene. I tried loading Revert Launch, but it ultimately took a long time to go back in the VAB with the flight control. 21. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Pro | CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 | GPU: RX 6400 | RAM: 16Gb @ 3200Mhz The game crashes when I revert to VAB during the loading screen step "Loading KSP2 missions" specifically with the background of a rocket rolling to the launch pad. Within 8~9 reverts, that has happened.
  22. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 64-Bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (24) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24340MB) | RAM: 65459 In the attached .zip file, there is a workspace (autosaved file) that causes my KSP2 to immediately crash when I try to launch it. I created a completely fresh campaign for 0.1.5, then created a fresh workspace for a Buran build. That resulted in the vehicle disappearing into the floor like in previous versions of the game (see this report). But when I load up the last working autosave of this, the craft appears to be fine. But when I press "launch", the game will crash every time. This really needs to be looked at. Attachment info: Video showing what I did. First I had the broken craft with parts hugging the floor. Then I loaded the last known working autosave version. Then the game crashed. The Bug package contains two sets of log files. First the logs from what is shown of the video. The second one is in the "Files" subfolder and was from a crash I experienced before I decided to record myself playing. Included Attachments: BUG137-Vehiclelaunchcasesgamecrash_logs.zip
  23. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor | GPU: RTX 3060 TI | RAM: 8GB Severity: High- Breaks the save, and/or crashes the game Frequency: Specific issue not 100% reproducable but the same cause of the timewarp causing weird things when retro burning at high timewarp Description: Created a small craft that had around 100m/s dV remaining. Used infinite fuel to burn retro for landing. Was burning in Vals SOI (around 4km/s speed) and attempted to timewarp. Blocked because of the timewarp fuel message. Following this, I clicked the max speed option available at this height (can't remember the specifics, so it must have been riding the SOI). My screen glitched for a moment as I assumed the craft crashed. Then the screen went as shown below in the map view, tracking station AND in game. Screen then turns black when you try to reset it while still playing. Performance is maybe halved or quartered. Trying to reload fails. Doing the same around Kerbin just crashes the game, luckily it auto saves and allows you to carry on before it happens. Tried again and the screen went black, and can recover as craft is "landed" and the save is perfectly safe. Included Attachments:
  24. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Linux Ubuntu 20.04.6 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti | RAM: 16GB System Specs: Frequency: High (seems to happen every time) Description: Should a craft's docking port attach to another docking port on the same craft such that a loop is created in the underlying craft's structure the game will freeze I have attached a craft file that demonstrates this. Launch the craft and activate the only stage to drop the horizontal section. First one docking port will attach, then after some flexing the second will attach and at that point the game will freeze. It does this every time for me. Included Attachments: double_docker.zip
  25. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X | GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070 | RAM: 32 GB DDR5 I created and tried to launch a tower of Wallaby landing legs. Unfortunately I could not because it freezes the game and prevents me from closing it. I'm forced to sign out of Windows. Load the craft and try to launch it. My initial intention was to check how high it bounces when I deploy all of the landing legs at once. Included Attachments: landinglegstower.json
