space-programmer

So i installed a mod and upon closing the game and reopening my saves were gone, after this i uninstalled the mod, no change then i checked the game files and my saves were there but they would not show up when i loaded up the game then i looked at the files and none seem to be corrupted but i still uninstalled settings.cnf but the problem persisted. Any help or suggestions go a long way thanks!
