  1. Lol I would be worried if Jeb or Bill were running "Quality control" on the parts before construction xD I picture Jeb beating Bill round the head with a solar panel....."yep seems fine to me...." xD
  2. I'm doing all I can to add steps to the refining process myself, for example as I'm using the Orbital construction mod which needs Spare parts I have tweaked the Smelter's config to make them, first I have to get ore, smelt it into metal then refine the metal into spare parts Trying to figure out if I can add any more steps atm xD
  3. From what I have read OC will soon be updating to run on the same resources as EL (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm waiting for this then I can start the huge colonisation campaign I have been planning since EL became compatible with Kethane. I'll only need a handful of launches from KSC to get started then everything else can come from OC and EL Who needs campaign mode when you can use mods like these to build your own expansive story? xD Edit: If you are tired of lifting parts like me then you can tweak the converters in the Kethane mod to make parts from Kethane. Just add; MODULE { name = KethaneConverter SourceResource = Kethane TargetResource = SpareParts ConversionEfficiency = 0.4 SourceConsumption = 10 PowerConsumption = 12 HeatProduction = 800 } to the bottom of the converter's part.cfg. I know this has been posted before but it appears the config file has changed ever so slightly in the last update (eg. KethaneConsumption becomes SourceConsumption). Edit 2 (or Brainwave 1): Or you could add; MODULE { name = KethaneConverter SourceResource = Ore TargetResource = SpareParts ConversionEfficiency = 1 SourceConsumption = 3 PowerConsumption = 10 } into the smelter's config from EL after the other "MODULE" bit. I am about to test this but it should work along the same lines as the Kethane trick without the cheaty feeling of turning what I assume is a gas into metal xD. Also if you want you could change "Ore" for "Metal" to add another step to the refining process and make it feel more legit. Edit: Tested and working
  4. I was sat in a meeting this evening, doodling designs for rockets and while sketching out one of your tanks it occurred to me that octagonal variants of these would also be of great use. So I made a note and here I am to ask whether something like this was within your future designs for the mod or if you would consider releasing an octagonal version of the mod. I am not aware of the work it would take but the idea of a "polytank" mod based on different polygons would be awesome.
  5. These will go really nicely into a space station idea I have, any chance crew storage is on the horizon? An entirely hexagonal station or even the smaller ones as one-man escape pods would be a lot of fun to mess around with.
