Reminds me of how one time, when I was on EVA near my Mun base, I accidentally hit one of the drills on the base, which sent my Kerbal into the air. However, it was like they were walking on the ground, but floating there. When I tried to jump it would make them move like 1m above where they were before, and I could only go down by using the EVA "jet"pack. It was very weird.

Is this mod just called "Airships" on CKAN?
