  1. Just curious, not to sound pushy or anything because I understand how difficult these things can be to develop, but has this Mod died?
  2. Perhaps a Parallax Propeller? Easy to program, loads of sample code out there for working with xbee, and they are fairly self-contained, so building an MCU around one isn't too hard. Plus, the multi-core nature of the Propeller has got to help with pulling real-time data from multiple sensors and transmitting it simultaneously.
  3. Just a thought, if you were looking for some odd units to add, you might consider including furlongs per micro-fortnight (Or F/mF), equal to 166.309524 m/s
  4. Sure thing: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6jo6ErnxnqCNEZqdi1XRHFSRmc/edit?usp=sharing
  5. No dice :/ are there other module installers that might function similarly? Or am I doomed to trying to install protobuf manually? Edit: RESOLVED Turns out protobuf wasn't too difficult to manually install this time. Maybe i shouldn't try to do these things late at night while I'm hungry? Edit II: I'm having terrible luck with this. Everything got installed and seemed to be functioning properly, however the in-game server does not seem to be discovering my client's attempt to connect. 6. Nope, no proxies. I don't think its getting caught by a firewall either, mine always pops up a message if it stops something. I tried verbose mode and it sill did the same non-response:
  7. It definitely did, I'm one step closer to getting Pip to work. Unfortunatly, running Pip garners no response :/. The command line shows for a brief moment that it is running pip.exe, but it quickly halts. Any thoughts? I'm running a fresh install of Python 2.7.6 and just installed Pip as that page instructed.
  8. Hello! I'm sorry if I'm missing some instructions in a text file somewhere, but I can not seem to get everything installed correctly, despite several hours of work. My system is running Windows 7. I have the mod downloaded and the Gamedata is in its proper location. My troubles have begun, however, when I attempted to install the protobuf package for python that the kRPC python client package requires. Again, I hope I have not overlooked a more clear set of install instructions, but I can not seem to figure out how to install this package from Google. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Ttb, you are an awesome person, here are three cookies! I have a heap of spare electronic parts laying around, so I will totally be making some sort of unique control computer/interface for myself. Hope you dont mind me borrowing your python script for talking with telemachus for a personal project will be happy to share notes if I do get anywhere with my controller
  10. I just can't see how you could call anything "cheating" in a single player sandbox game. The closest you could come is using hyperedit to make it look like you are a better pilot than Scott Manley then bragging to your friends about it, but that would be silly. Everyone know you can't beat The Manley In all seriousness, I love hyperedit because I have a pretty unstable machine, and sometimes things just sorta freak out on me. Once, I had a carrer game going really well, and I woke up the next morning to find not just the save file corrupted, but the entire KSP directory. 10 minutes with hyper edit and I was back in business! Also, like Zatie12 said, if I get super close to a success but come just a little short on fuel or something similar, I am totally content to use hyperedit to get the rest of the way and admit my flaws TlDr: You can do what you want as long as your honest about it. As for me, Data recovery
  11. Your description is so vague its hard to tell what you were talking about. Was the YouTuber Scott Manley, perhaps? If so, was the building the control tower at the second landing strip? If that sounds familiar, check out the island to the west of KSC. If not, do some more research so you can gove us more details or answer your own question.
  12. If I remember correctly, it can be disabled in the part config, but its been a while since I've seen it done. I dont think there is a way to do it on a by-port basis, though you could make two versions of the part and choose at will
