If you want, James orbit would be happy to help. We have a few empty launch slots coming up.
-
Is this like the eurofighter?
-
If you stayed as your own group, J.O.S.T would love to team up with you at some point. You clearly have some great ideas.
-
This is quite easy really, but could be hard for some newer players.
-
This is great!
-
J.O.S.T is now asking what you think James Orbit should do next. Once a new development path has been chosen, we will be looking for partners.
-
I agree. J.O.S.T will be making one similar design as part of the Expedition mun station project (planned to be in Hawking crater) and to help as part of the Newton project.
-
It is based on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSTS
-
J.O.S.T is now preparing Newton 15. Newton 15 will actually be two newton stations together to form a space hotel. Whats more, the hotel will move into lunar orbit! 8)
Newton 15 will also act as a control center for Hawkinge crater.
-
Thanks, You could e-mail me if you prefer, but i don\'t mind.
Also, you have competition. J.O.S.T is operating again.
-
Can you post pictures of my sun sat?
-
Oooh god, the competition has arrived xD
J.O.S.T is pleased to announce the Newton Project. Two space labs/stations, to allow cheap stays in space.
-
I searched for space simulators on wikipedia, and looked at every one on the list. KSP was the best.

Welcome to James Orbit
James Orbit started in early 2012, when James Air (The main company) decided it needed to extend. First, James Rail came. Then some other boring stuff. Last of all, The James Orbit Space Team was created.
J.O.S.T Was set up to allow James Air to reach new heights. Not only do they control all of the James Air space missions, but also carry out most of the research needed to run James Air.
Our goal is to bring affordable space travel to all kerbals that don\'t want to be killed!
We pride our selfs in being one of the most reliable Space organizations in the world. We never launch until we know it is safe (Well, maybe not always, but we try our best! ;D ).
missions:
Newton 7 : Not in use (To book, E-mail J.O.S.T at [email protected], With the subject: Newton 7)
Newton 11 : Not in use (To book, E-mail J.O.S.T at [email protected], With the subject: Newton 11)
Expedition : Tests in progress (To find out more, E-mail J.O.S.T at [email protected], With the subject: Expedition)
Commissions: (please go to our website to commission what ever you want!)
Current commissions:
Deep space Badger: due to leave the kerbal system in 63 years
Expedition:
James Orbits New Mission is called Expedition. This is because we plan to find and explore new places all over the kerbalverse.
To do this, J.O.S.T Made plans for a new spacecraft.
During tests we took some pictures:
Newton:
Newton is a set of small space labs/stations set up to allow cheap stays in space.
Newton 7 was set up to allow scientists to conduct experiments in micro gravity.
Newton 11 is identical to Newton 7, but is intended as more of a tourist hotel.
Britannia 2:
Britannia 2 is a very small reusable craft that can take 1 person into a Low Kerbin Orbit. in extreme cases Britannia craft can land on the mun with half a tank to spare once its returned.
More coming soon
-
Yes!!!!, Ive wanted this pack for ages. I Hope more comes out soon ;D
-
Where has everyone gone?
Is it possible that we can have photos now?
-
I was thinking you use a huge arm, 70 km long, and just lift your craft into space, like a huge hand coming down from the sky.
-
Would it be possible to make a huge arm that flings your spacecraft into space. It would be so much easier to launch large ships. I was thinking, you have the arm on the runway, that reaches over to the launch tower and grabs to craft. The main problem I have is trying to stop it falling over. I don\'t have time to make one that could get things into space. If any of you can, I would love to see it.
-
Wait, you mean live crew onboard? Or do you mean a small habitable area in case another crew docks with the satellite to fix some issue?
Just a small area for fixes, normally only 1 kerbal for a very short time. not for living in.
-
James Orbit Is Having a small technical problem with all its craft, but need to launch a small satellite round thee sun, preferably very close to it. It is called J.O.S.T Sun Sat (JSS). You can design it however you want, but it needs 4 solar panels, lots of antenna and a very small crew area for servicing. I suggest from the 0.5 meter bit from the BACE pack. The James Orbit Space Team would like some pictures of the Satellite. If you cant do any of this than I don\'t mind. Thanks
-
How do you actually land it?
-
Airbags will be awesome. There is a addon request for them. If you can make them, you will have the best addon ever! ;D
-
Thanks, If it doesn\'t have one, can i call it :
Bryant Newell & Scales,
New ant Scales or
Hawkinge crater
I no they are not the usual name, but that will make it a landmark on Mun road maps in the year 3000
Would it be possible to call it Hawkinge, and somewhere say: found by Bryant, Newell and Scales, Maybe in Brackets?
I hope Hawkinge Could be used, because its were I grew up, And i would love to be able to go there more!
Who would i need to talk to?
-
Can some on tell me if this land has a name?

Awesome, but does the manual thrust gimbal angle actually affect the flight of the shuttle?
