The idea of this signature is very simple, it tells which celestial bodies you have visited successfully. The file contains the base signature (with kerbin, arrows, mun and minmus lit up) and every celestial body (lit up) as individual .png files, so you can create your own signature by adding all the celestial bodies you have visited as layers on top of the base signature. For example with Gimp you open up the base.png --> file --> open as layer and select all the celestial bodies you want to add --> save the image.
